You couldn't keep me or my friends off PSO for the Gamecube. More than 4 years and 500 hours for GC alone

I would think you could create a program that matches up words in a post to compare to blacklisted spam posts. Like if a post has 90% of the same words in the exact same spot as a spam one it would be closed to spam. Most of these spam posts just switch names and figures around, but have similar word counts and phrases for a majority of the post
In the mean time if a post has been flagged for Spam the account should be either removed or given a week ban instantly. How many le...
Why not? The install base is large enough. I doubt this game will get a huge budget to where it needs to sell millions (though I could be wrong)
Implying the 3DS is bad?
Very astute observation
Maybe we would have flying cars if we didn't spend so much time and money on "medicine" and "helping those less fortunate"
League of Legends does a good job with the F2P model. While paying money certainly gets you some things faster and cool aesthetics, you get so much free content and interaction with the staff anywayyou don't feel like you're missing anything. While money is the only way to get skins, they are merely for show and to show pride in your Champion. You can spend no money and still feel like you're getting a $60 game
It's when the Devs make you feel bad for not spen...
"One shareholder raised his hand, questioning the logic is staying unified at such desperate times"
"Kaz proceeded to stare into the shareholder's eyes, and slowly shake his head as he watched him erupt into flames and turn to ash"

Waiting for PSO2
Other than localization I'm fine with Sega getting Atlus, they have a good Rep with everyone
How much money money did Nintendo invest in these games? My guess is not much
Easy money, Nintendo doesn't even need to buy their own eShop space, because they own it.
Money=Creativity, obviously :P
Don't get me wrong, big budget games can be creative and fun. However Indies are pretty much forced to create novel, unique titles in order to get noticed and make even the slightest profit. Creativity is free, it comes from within.
Too bad Nintendo would just take all their franchises to their handheld, making it the best handheld gaming console ever made
SC2 is one of the best fighting games, period. Weapon Master mode beats anything I've ever played in a fighting game, it was a full fledged story with tons of replayability. If you had the GC ver. you had Link and it was an overall great game with the best looking Nightmare and Soul Edge. It's timeless really.
So they did the HD version of the poorest quality version? (PS2). Good thing I still own my GC version, looks better than this, they cut out the blur that hides the flaws, looks kinda bleh. Resident Evil 4 HD did a good job of making it look clean without looking worse (imo).
You know what they always say: "The customer is always wrong" -_-
MS did a terrible job of explaining the need for DRM and used game fees, it was basically "we want more money and control, here's some things we could've given you anyways with Gold but decided not to".
M$ could've not listened, but they would've been in a deep whole to start.
I like Fallout 3 because it gives me hope, that even after a Nuclear Holocaust there is a chance for humans to survive. Granted I'll be dead before the world becomes laregly inhabitable, but it's a cool thought nonetheless. Also what makes an apolocalypse more different than a fictitous world? It's a similar environment to what we have on earth, but still different. It stimulates the imagination, brings about "what-ifs" and "imagine a _____" scenario

From what I heard (and by your analogy) Nintendo made Coke and Sony made a lesser knock-off of Sprite. They were both Soda's, different styles though Nintendo had a better poduct not matter how you looked at it.
Sony did not have control over every core franchise from their history, nor did they put their full weight behind the game. People were crying out for Crash and Spyro. Why weren't they available? Because Sony didn't own them, Activision did. Why no Final F...
A name for X would be awesome, a quick review of the games coming out this year. Hopefully we will get a big update on Smash (the website has been pretty quiet) and hopefully more info on Yoshi's next games.
Chances are though it will be focused only on 2013. My conservative expectations are release dates for the rest of the year, Miiverse on smart phones, some gameplay videos, and one surprise
