Pretty good for a console everyone said was a fad that would die off in 3 years. To many it was a gimmick that had no place in the gaming industry, but to me it was another testament to the ingenius that can be Nintendo, a true member of the Nintendo and gaming family.

The whole event is vety childish. Fish responded to an uncalled for attack with an equally nasty one of his own. Beer knew he could get an enraged response from Fish and Fish fell for the trap. While you could say Fish had it coming the fact Beer felt he had nothing better to do than to elicit a blood-boiled response ilustrates how far media will go for attention. Beer comes out the hero while we see Fish for what he truly is: An Indie developer with his own strong beliefs that could only tak...

Kickstarter (I will refer to it as KS from now on) is where consumers are the producers and publishers of a game, they put up the money and ultimately vote if the Dev can make a specific type of game. It is an unofficial contract where the Dev gets money as long as they uphold their end of the deal, if they don't then the backers get (or should get) full compensation. I'm not fully into KS so I'm not sure how it works on every level, but if consumers put forth money for a product ...

So glad WiiU is Next-gen, hate to be stuck with what the PS3 and 360 are getting (they're good for how big the game is and what the consoles are capable of). If the gamepad is used creatively enough I will know what version I will be getting

With Nintendo you almost never know. One moment everyone will be praising Nintendo for an ingenious or creative move and the next moment scratching their heads at why Nintendo is so oblivious to current trends.

I'm calling this article out by saying OUYA is all talk
So if I'm an Indie Dev I'll get better exposure because there's less competition and by some magical fairy dust I'll get better sales than by being on PS4, WiiU, or Xbone?

OUYA hopes that by glorifying Indie Devs they will flock to it because it makes them feel good. The only thing it has going for it is that it's not owned by a major company, meaning Uhrman will do anything, even out o...

I remember Iwata talking about how Nintendo had a new LoZ to show, but they wanted to wait until after Wind Waker HD. Maybe a sneak peak?

I really love PS4's vision, it's the purist's video game console imo. No game is too big and you can tell Sony put a lot of thought in it, from the architecture to the features to the price.

Like always Nintendo is trying to change our perception of consoles. I hope they find success, just because it would show alternative playstyles can succeed despite having less power as long as the content is great enough. And I don't what them to succeed because ppl fee...

No love for the Western fans. It's not like we've been waiting for this games since it was revealed, or that some of us played the original for hundreds of hours and would pay money for the sequel

They were the characters the game needed. Not only would they fit the theme of a fighting game (and be fun to play) but they are the original "All-Stars"

I wish we didn't have to keep bringing up more reasons why the 3DS and WiiU had terrible post launch windows. I want to be looking forward, not back. A lot of things went wrong for them over the past 3 years

Reminds me of how much I want Banjo-Kazooie and Geno from Mario RPG in Smash Bros.

AVGN?

On-topic: I love it when people can't play the things that are based off of them, it's to be expected but is still humorous

Why did the Vita get such a cruddy port of one of the most reverred Sony franchises? The quality control was just dismal

They mostly talk through Nintendo Directs now, that and the occasional Facebook post

Nintendo has been pretty tight lipped, they come out with a burst of news then wait until the next round. Nintendo thinks that if they release info all the time then ppl won't remember the smaller things, that and other reasons.

I feel like they're cooking up something big atm. They're ready to announce a new Zelda. but they want to wait after Wind Waker HD. ...

There is no shame in the designer's answers

There are probably times when he doesn't play for competition wise. He probably switches between pure practice/scrims then plays the ladder for "fun"

At the end of the day players like him are playing because they enjoy the game, you can't excel in something you don't like

I can barely create units at one place and a single army at once, these guys can control multiple armies, specific units in those armies, and map and several base controls at the same time. Watching the first 3 minutes or so is interesting because he's switching back and forth between the same three units/buildings, making sure nothing is out of place

The macro and micro they can pull off is insane. The muscle memory and quick decision making they need to get down is no...

It would be cool if they had cutscenes for every "New Challenger Approaching" instead of the usual blacked out image

Nintendo and Sony consoles have been very kind to Japanese RPG developers. Atlus, Intelligent Games, and Monolith Soft have released stellar, solid selling titles for their respective systems.
