$100 for me is a lot. To a lot of consumers an extra $100 is nothing, but I like to save as much money as possible. Even then I'm not interested in many MS franchises atm, still a little too FPS friendly.
I probably wouln't get either for quite awhile, so by the time I'm interested I can re-evaluate the current franchise. Overall Sony fits my gamer style a little more, plus the $100 difference and a slight mistrust of MS atm.
I have nothing a...
MS will force them to release it simultaneously no matter what (see Rayman Legends)
The WiiU's best days are ahead of it in terms of software and Nintendo support. I believe the WiiU will sell quite well, not necessarily first place but enough to make a noticeable profit for Nintendo.
Devs and consumers just need to give it a second chance, to give it a real effort
That's what they call a "Wtf" moment
Sadly I was not able to finish it. I think I got stuck on the Ghost Ship Triforce piece, could never figure out how to get in it. And since I never actually owned it I can't go back to finish it.
The only major flaw was the game made things needlessly time consuming. After the 100th sunken treasure and wind direction change I was ready for the game to transport me to the final dungeon, neither did I want to look for money for several hours on end
Don't forget WInderful101. A lot of things happened for it this week
Wonder what the value of it is. I know the space experience is 200k by itself. It's probably mostly just bragging rights (like you need to by this to tell everyone you're super rich)
There's already two TV spots for Japan made, there will be ads for other regions as well. The game got a 20 minute Direct dedicated to it. They had a showing and demo at Comic Con and E3. The game is getting hyped up on this site and others for it's depth and creativity
I'd say that's a good start for one game. It's one month from release so maybe it's too much too early. But seeing how it's pretty much NIntendo's only major release in Septem...
Sorry, I tried to edit it to show it's for people who don't realize. I understood what you meant
News flash to the uninformed, it's by the same Dev studio who have done Metal Gear Rising, Bayonetta, and Mad World (Wii). To think Kamiya would suddenly make a terrible combat system and poor action sequences is absurd
The game is also supposed to be fairly difficult. If you watch the end of the Nintendo Direct for the game from a day ago you will see the game is much more epic than any of us may have assumed.
If Nintendo doesn't make money off it they will do anything to stop it
If you notice she resembles more of a Bioshock 1 female than anything, a lot of them had that hairstyle in the first game, not to mention the pale skin of being underwater constantly. She looks like she's from Rapture originally, or at least has been there for a long time
My guess is people are more likely to want to have sex than to commit violence. Violence is a crime but sex necessarily isn't. Violence is naturally controlled by our Brains but sex isn't as much. Nature would rather us procreate than to kill one another, we are wired to pursue sex as part of our being as animals.
At least that's my take.
So you think Nintendo's profit came of thin air? They'd have to be committing some serious fraud to post profit with two supposedly failed consoles
Nintendo will stay as they are until Miyamoto is out of the picture. A lot of Game Development and even the control of what becomes a new IP or another Zelda/Mario game goes through him. Nintendo continues to make a profit and release critically acclaimed games. They may not provide all that you desire, but I can say the same for others.
While the current WiiU situation is concerning, the 3DS is going strong and the WiiU still has a chance.
They were spending/investing on Cell, Blu-ray, and the best power overall, no wonder they lost a lot of money (for the price of a PS3 you could've gotten a standard Blu-ray player).
They aren't trying to create the wheel, just build upon one.
Imo Dragon's Crown's visual style is a satire of our culture and how we portray certain archetypes
There are few old or ugly witches now a days, many are sexualized and younger (hence the busty sorceress). The Dwarf is an overly muscular man, many of our games have strong, athletic men as protagonists. The Amazon is an overexaggeration of tough females and goes along with the Dwarf in a way. The Amazons were supposed to be a large (in size) all female warrior race, ...
Just like I can't say for sure it will you can't say it won't
It's creative and well made enough to where it can. Every system seller has to start somewhere
I remember playing Fallout 3 again and trying an all evil route. I actually felt bad for some of my decisions interestingly enough (though it was awesome seeing a city get nuked from a distance). Maybe it's just me, but you can get somewhat attached to these kinds of games on a moral level.
Imo it's tasteless. Like was it really necessary to make it a better game, was it added because to the Devs it's what makes Hotline Miami what it is, and if it wasn't added would the devs feel like the game would be inferior without it?
I'm not going to judge this game from one scene, it's obvious the game is known for over the top action and gore. Personally it was hard to see how that scene makes the game better in terms of value. The scene imo takes a...
