Nintendo didn't think their initial marketing stategy out well. The problem was instead of introducing the console first followed by the gamepad, they introduced the gamepad then followed it with the system.
Nintendo's thinking was "the moment anyone see the gamepad they will think WiiU". It was a smart idea, except for one important problem. People don't think WiiU when they see the gamepad, they think Wii with the gamepad being a new peripheral.
COD is still stuck in 2009. Even then COD will never be as good as MW2 was. Sure it had its problems but I thought the campaign had enough exciting set pieces and diverse scenarios to keep you interested, not to mention some of the best maps.
This has to be the 360 version, since it looks very much like current gen. Now don't get me wrong, the multiplayer will most likely be fun. But IW isn't even trying anymore. Imo MW2 is the last time they truly tried
This is one of the best HD remake you will probably ever see, since they actually upgraded the graphics and made it a better game overall. Usually they just clean it up and say "Here you go, it's HD".
Which is what I said. It only made good sense to revert the unfavorable limitations
+PS4
It only took countless gamers to tell them their policies were terrible and would only hurt sales. So if common sense is the same thing as being smart then yes, they were smart.
Agreed. Tbh it's my most anticipated game of next-gen, based on the sheer potential, the legacy of the Developer, and the fact it's on the WiiU.
I get goosebumbs when I watch the second trailer they released for it. I really expect it to turn some heads, and maybe shatter expectations people had of the WiiU's power
Nintendo has some pretty colorful games on the way. Wonder101, Mario, Donkey Kong
Most realistic games will continue the gray theme because you don't think of blue, sunny skies when you're busy shooting people.
You can find games of all color palettes if you look hard enough. If you haven't noticed as graphics get more advanced Devs will want to go more into the realistic, serious art directions that become possible with realistic graphics
I would expect the Vita and WiiU to be the best versions, considering the touch screen
They're not amazing numbers, but still good
I would expect Mario World to be the big sell
I'm more interested in scope capabilities than visuals. For example, could the WiiU get the same experience as Witcher 3 with some graphics cutbacks, or is size and things like no loading screens too much
Monolith Soft looks to be setting the bar pretty high for WiiU in terms of size and visuals http://www.youtube.com/watc...
The more I see of this game the more I like it.
Waiting for reviews
Nintendo is the original home of the platformer. They've always done platformers the best, always will
I wonder what percent of companies actually make a profit, probably not too high with all the clones and free games out there. Also I'm sure there are more Ipads and smartphones than 3DS' and Vita's (including their predecessors)
IGN People's Choice. Look really good, can't wait to see how the more creative tracks look
Hopefully I'll get a chance to play it at PAX, or at least see more stuff. This will sure to sell a few WiiU's
A Star Wars skin of Battlefield would be really cool tbh.
But they're making Battlefront, not Battlestars.
The Alpha Dog gets to have his way in the Pack. As long as it doesn't come back to bite them then they will be fine. The PS4 is pretty much sealed atm, more awesome stuff is revealed every day. The only blemish on Sony is the Vita, which is getting love in the near future.
I guess controls and learning curves aren't much of a factor in their reviews. My assumption is they act as if players already know what they're doing when they first start, then review a game based on content and gameplay.
Their score should balance out the overall reception. Certainly a wild card
If The HD Tales of Symphonia was also coming to WiiU I would say there is a pretty big partnership (the original was exclusive to the Gamecube, at least for a time).
What they have is strictly business. Namco has a history with fighting games and toys, which is why Nintendo most likely brought them on.
It's interesting how most child gun murders are the result of using a weapon owned by the parents of the child. That child didn't go to a street corner and buy a handgun or rifle from a shady individual, they walked to where the gun was held, stole the parent's key, or in some cases used a weapon given to them by their parents.
The accusation that a video game is the sole reason children (or young adults) commit murder is naive and ignorant. There are many peop...
