I'd rather play my Gamecube version, HD exposes too many graphical shortcomings, and if it is based on PS2's power then they picked a poor ver. to update. Not expecting Link, but this game doesn't really age well according to the trailer
It's good if you can't get the old versions, but if you can play the originals I'd stick with those
I would expect another big January Nintendo Direct next year
Pretty sure there are more than one to look forward to
Keep trying, you can be a better troll than that can't you? Standards for trolls sure has dropped
Well said good sir/madame.
"Nintendo should become 3rd party because blah blah blah"
That's all I hear from these kind of articles. The millionth article on the subject is going to get the same answer again and again.
Nintendo makes money off each WiiU sold, developing for other systems would undermine their own hardware, 1st party devs get the freedom to do whatever they want. They've made some of the best games along side MS and Sony, just because they don't...
Square Enix owns Geno, Nintendo would need special permission or for SquareE to come to them
Doesn't the Animal Crossing Villager look generic enough?
Just allow you to replace his model with Mii's and everyone is happy
Mii's would just be a waste of roster space, they have nothing unique or special to distinguih them. You would be constantly going "now where is that ability from?"
Nintendo really knows how to work the handheld market, which I assume is primarily casual
Animal Crossing is the definition of the perfect handheld game. Pick up and play at any time, you can play for either 30 minutes or 3-5 hours
3DS is just a continuation of the success of the DS. Intuitive, has that unique feature to catch you in, appeals to children and anyone who can see it has great games for it. Nintendo has proven time and time again they are king of...
There's nothing left to talk about concerning the WiiU. Just wait and see if launching a major title every month for the next 10 months or so will pay off
Good to see
Golden Sun is one of the few RPG's I go back to again and again, the second one is a masterpiece imo.
I remember when I was younger, probably around 7-10 years ago I saw Mario RPG at the local game store for $35 dollars. I knew from my time renting it I had to buy it so I decided to save up for it. Everytime I went to the store I would look to see if the game was still there. Never thought I would spend 35 for a SNES game, but it was worth it, oh so worth it
People only want Nintendo to go third party because they want to be able to play Nintendo's games on their consoles and don't think Nintendo deserves to have their amazing games on an "inferior system".
Nintendo would stand nothing to gain from dropping out of hardware, neither would MS. Nintendo makes money of each console sold, and they have the freedom to make any game they want because they own the platform.
There's almost no logic ...
Ignorant and troll. Skyrim was an amazing game, same for Fallout 3
I'm guessing you own a PS3?
League of Legends is now an official sport in the US.
And you're right, Korea is home to most of the best players across any competitive game. They've fully embraced the idea of competitive vido games as a career. One day I wouldn't be surprised to see the whole world adopt regular TV programming dedicated to video games
It helps games like Starcraft is 1v1 with multiple cash prize tournaments. Those scenes are also 5+ years old with widespread esports prescence.
Taipei Assassins won a million dollars in the Season2 World Finals of LoL, but since they have 5 members plus other expenses each player about $200,000. Plus League is constructed to where you earn money competitevly through World Finals, or major tournaments like MLG or IEM, not minor tournaments every month or so. For them streami...
Treat the WiiU like new console release, as if it was released this November. Price drop of $50 across all SKU's, full advertising blitz
Nintendo should try to bolster the WiiU with their vast reserves of money. Its brightest days are ahead of it, no one cares if you say "oops, we messed up" then pull out an amazing relaunch. So what if the majority of its current existance has been an abysmal crap shoot, time to forget the past and look ahead.
No controller feels better to hold than the Wavebird, it melts right into your hand and fingers, perfect weight distribution throughout the controller.
Keep it SNES/N64 style, I don't a game that tries too hard to fit multiple game genres at the same time in order to garner mass appeal. Keep it difficult, skill intensive and gritty, easy to grasp but difficult to master. Litter it with secret exits and branching paths, I want a Fox McCloud who's seen it all.
Nintendo will make some of the best games this generation despite having a Console several years behind the others, why can't other Devs do the same (several of those titles will sell millions)
This is what I love about the Indie movement, they can take technology from any generation and make wonderful, sometimes vastly innovative titles. I'm certain if you stretch the technology far enough and truly put in the effort to make a signature title you would care less ab...
Finally someone other than Nintendo is giving a crap about their games. I'd rather see 3rd party publications give free press to Nintendo games than Nintendo continue to do everything themselves
You make it sound like this is a bad thing. Maybe if Nintnedo didn't release a trailer and 10-15 minute demo we wouldn't be seeing IGN and Destructoid giving coverage to an awesome game. Nintendo potentially reached thousands of potential customers, just by showing up to...
