I hated how with Live you had to buy the 12 months to get the best deal. Everything less than 12 months had an inflated price for some BS, money grabbing reason
It will be good to have a month by month basis, so when you hit a period where you don;t care for the offerings you can opt out for a month
If you haven't noticed, everything with PS4 in the title has hit over 300* the past week
To save money, and Nintendo has said you can use your own external memory
Notch can do whatever he wants. The wonder of being a millionaire is no one can tell him the games he can or can not make because he can put up all the money himself.
Think of it as a path to developer enlightenment.
I wonder if a Dev will ever create their own version of WW2. There are a lot of games that go from a certain point to the finish (or just point to point), maybe create their own historic battle sites and general plot. Or at the very least reimagine locations in their own way
So many WW2 games chronicle the real history of the war, it would be interesting to see a Dev create their own narrative an pull it off. While some may be against "changing history" it could b...
GTA 5 isn't coming to the WiiU, Wonderful 101 is exclusive to the WiiU. Some people can by more than one game a month, especially if they really want those games. And not everyone is spending their "one game" on GTA 5. Maybe someone could care less for GTA or just not atm but really want 101.
They are both two completely different games appealing to different audiences. Also by your logic any publisher releasing a game in the next month is an idiot because it&...
Nintendo is making it pretty easy for Indies to develop for the WiiU. Several times they've been the first to ask for a title to come to the WiiU, and offered consultation and support to get them on.
With how crowded the Mobile market is home consoles are a smart alternative for Indie devs, they don't need to underprice or undervalue their games to get noticed
I cannot wait for a next-gen Bioshock. For being current gen Infinite was beatiful, can't wait to see how good the next one will look and feel
There is still a lot of room for graphical improvements, next gen certainly won't be the last
When I read this I made that weird sputtering sound you make when you hear/read something that's completely BS
Good thing I wasn't drinking anything at the same time
This game looks so awesome. Easily surpassed my initial expectations
Everything we do is a choice, even in doing nothing we choose to do nothing
I don't think anyone can forget the first time they played through Bioshock 1. So often we follow orders without question we forget we are being merely guided through our experiences. In the end it's what we take from them what matters. As a form of entertainment video games lead us to a specific emotion, so it is through an artist's point of view we formulate our own conclusions.
Too bad I stopped playing Halo 4 long ago, wish they had the lower shield CD at the beginning.
Post 3 months the WiiU did suck, but things are beginning to look up
I just finished Infinite for the first time today. Elizabeth was a very refreshing female partner. She was a true asset you didn't need to babysit, was an intergal aspect of the story (she was half of Infinite really), and I wish more games could pull off female partners like Irrational did.
Leave it to Ken Levine and crew to accomplish such a feat
Good for a sniper. I wonder if it protects from headshots
The first and last one look real, the others look like really good paintings (as in from a distance you'd think you were looking through a window). I could see one of these pictures framed and sold as an original painting

Anyway, Nintendo came from a time when before there was quality control on games, when they were an expensive novelty. E.T. for me is the definitive bad scenario for games before the NES. It didn't matter if the game was good, what mattered was it was a video game with a specific character made for a quick buck
The NES was basically gaming's second chance at becoming mainstream. Mega Man...
The 3DS didn't come into dominance by focusing on realistic "core games". Nintendo knew the handheld niche which is casual, pick up and play games. The Vita needs unique experiences, games that aren't found on other pltforms, including home consoles. There has to be something Sony can pull out that appeals to all ages and gamer demographics. They need their Mario, their Animal Crossing, with a back-up of more "core titles" that are unique to the Vita
They made $4 million off of 4 very low budget, low marketing cost games in one month, sold at $5 each (or 4 for $15).
Street Pass is neat because you can have your 3DS in your pocket at all times and passively gain free content and other bonuses. It's part of their social push for their systems, I think it appeals to a lot of people, not everyone, but it does exist

I haven't been moved by a game since the original Bioshock. Granted I haven't played every game (I don't have a PS3), but the industry could use more games that challenge how we think, both in and outside of games.
I respect any Dev who doesn't use explosions or huge budgets to sell games, but a unique and memorable experience that really stays with you.
