I recall an ign interview with Reggie at E3 about 3rd parties. It's weird, but in a way Nintendo accepts their position with 3rd parties. Instead of paying 3rd parties to get games on WiiU, Reggie said Nintendo would rather do like they've done with Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta, W101, and Devil Third which is pay for and help in the making of games they wouldn't normally make under their banner.
They can diversify their portfolio while having the Nintendo brand of ...
I hope it succeeds to show a game like Timeplitters can make it in the current game environment
Too many shooters try to be serious all the time. I want some variety and intentional fun
A little pricey, but they are high quality, a well known brand, and will work with multiple games and even into next-gen.
Nintendo has/had the biggest relationship with Capcom. Street Fighter and Mega Man flourished under Nintendo for a time, Resident Evil was almost exclusive to Nintendo for one of the series' best games, Dead Rising which is traditionally an Xbox exclusive appeared on the Wii at one point. Nintendo is getting the most love with and out of Mega Man atm, and Monster Hunter has a welcomed home on Nintendo consoles
Though tbh it's hard to see games like RE or SF exclusive ...
I'd love to see naughty Dog go back to their fun platform/adventure roots. With UC4 they will have done 7 games in a row focused on guns, blood, and/or dark themes (Jak 2 up to TLoU. I think it's time to return to the stuff that made them enter the mainstream (if that's the right word for it)
One thing that was cool with the original Zelda is even if you went the "wrong way" there was something to find, either a hidden area that gave you rupees or heart container (it's a secret to everyone), a sword upgrade, shop, or even a dungeon or shortcut. You could find a dungeon ahead of what you were looking for and could explore until it became too difficult without a specific item, or even beat it and feel awesome for going out of order. It was fun to get lost, something t...
The day SE and Nintendo re-collaborate to create Super Mario RPG 2 for WiiU...would be KH3 times 10
Aonuma said there was going to be a working demo at next E3, so probably a fall/winter release 2015 unless it gets delayed
Can we get Timesplitters now? Because that's a Crytek game I'd be interested in. We don't get many humorous/for-fun shooters (one reason I have interest in Devil's Third)
Best thing about Timesplitters is it doesn't need top of the line tech to be a good game. Crytek needs to stop trying to be the tech demo and create fun, good games
It does move along the ground in MK8. Usually it moves right down the middle of the tracks and cuts in a little bit on the turns
3DS had its Animal Crossing, its Pokemon, its MK7 and 3D Land, games either suited best for a handheld or unseen anywhere else. Vita either had console games made for a handheld which isn't what the market asks for and games like Tearaway which while unique, didn't capture the replayability craze mobile/handheld asks for nowadays
Like many say the Vita is a great system if you enjoy the library and features, but it doesn't fit the market. Much like how the WiiU, w...
It's funny how the game that's suited best for a dual screen isn't on a system with those features as default (3DS and WiiU). Having a screen for inventory or a overview of the nearby area would be great to have. And if Nintendo became attached to it enough we could see things like Nintendo character skins or things like Goombas and metroids
Sharing through Miiverse would be nice as well
Whoever decided to increase its girth and make better triggers gets all my praise. Previous DualShocks never felt like high quality to me, a small barrier I had to overcome. But the DS4 feels great, much better from a gen shift standpoint than what happened to the X1 controller (feels inferior to the 360 controller)
Perfect option to getting into the WiiU. You get two games until July 31st (including Mario Kart), a Wiimote with motion plus just in case, and enough Nintendo Club coins to get yourself something nice (personally I dowloaded Super Metroid). Naturally the gamepad can be used as a TV remote, web browser, and personal gaming/Netflix screen.
Mario Kart is easily goty status (not that I think it would win necessarily) and the WiiU is great by itself. Honestly it's cheaper to ...
Make games, not war.
Nintendo sells refurbished 32gb models for $200. And it's their official site, so the risk of getting cheated is very low. You can get a WiiU and 2 games for less than $300 after buying MK8.
Shovel Knight looks cool, gonna look into it
I hate how we have to wait until Smash and 2015 for the WiiU to really get rolling, but Mario Kart 8 shows the right titles can sell WiiU. Maybe not at PS4 pace, but if the WiiU can get 3rd party support in 2015 I'll be happy. The WiiU still has around 4.5 years left, so a little less than 4 years of 3rd party would be all right with me.
Because they will be fun games nonetheless. Also unlike EA their games are actually playable on consoles
They'd have to hire a new mo-cap actress on top of everything
