Shin Megami x Fire Emblem
It's a mobile game maker, what would you expect?
Metroid Prime, Xenoblade Chronicles, Bioshock, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country 2 are some of my favorite games, and they're single-player games (DK and Mario have co-op, but they're primarily SP). Very few of my top games are multi-player based, like MW2 and Smash-Melee.
Imo single-player games are more difficult to make well than multiplayer, since you need story, characters, and devices to keep entertained in SP, where MP is about how much fun can you put in ...
Like when Nintendo censored and commandeered Platinum Game's development of W101 and Bayonetta 2... oh wait, they didn't. They gave helpful insight and constructive criticism while allowing them to fulfill their vision and make the game they wanted.
Issac was just Nintendo sticking to their family-friendly image. Hopefully they turned around since ratings exist for game content
Nintendo won't admit it, but they are. If enough people say "we will buy this game" and it's calculated to be worth a profit, Nintendo will comply... eventually
Nintendo doesn't want to be put in a position where they feel obligated to follow or respond to every fan/public demand. They like to do things their way, for better or for worse
David Wise, one of the best
They really outdid themselves on Hyrule Warriors. Diverse cast, added exploration, tons of Zelda lore, pretty visuals. I'm gonna go out and say this will be a must buy for WiiU, I think they can pull it off
Glad to see achievements are back
Bungie just can't seem to shake Halo. You can tell a lot of the foundation was based on Halo tech, the E3 video was a dead giveaway a few seconds in. It's gonna save them a lot of money and make it accessible to a lot of people, basically a Halo MMORPG
And people said this was going to be a simple Dynasty Warriors clone. I'm seeing quite a bit of depth, with some exploration and minigames. The cast of characters is diverse, you don't feel like you're playing stylized warrior/mage number 1-8, one of the benefits of using the Zelda universe
I might, no will get this game when it comes out.
Most of the library caters to an Eastern audience, which is also more into handhelds than consoles.
There's not enough unique, must-have, or fire catching titles for western consumers. Nothing the Vita has comes close to Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Mario (though I've heard good things of games like Tearaway). Not many seem to care about it anymore, it could not exist one day and they wouldn't notice.
There's still two pathways to go, the sequel to Prime 3 thanks to the mystery ship at 100% completion, and post-Fusion where Samus severs ties with the Federation. Post-Fusion could go the darker route, some sort of virus or parasite released by the Fed that threatens the Galaxy
Sony losses hundreds of millions of dollars a year, just another bad day for Sony
THQ was the publisher, but when they went down Valhalla was left with the IP but no funding. It was originally for 360 and PS3 back in the day, now just WiiU.
They need full controller interaction. I should be able to use my Wiimotes and Gamepad in both the Wii and WiiU menus
EA and Madden are still s***, nothing new to see here.
Nintendo E3, Round 2
B-but, there's no Splatoon
If you ask me it should've been Jak and Daxter, not TLoU to get a current gen update.
Only if we get a massive hub world. Since Mario Kart has flying and water sections DKR needs everything it can get to stand out, one being the the use of a hub world like in the original.
And when I say massive I mean massive. DKR needs to be the alternative to MK, not the lesser version
Jak & Daxter HD >>> Uncharted HD. It doesn't take a lot of imagination to wonder what UC will look with buffed textures, lighting, and shadows.
Would you rather see a Mustang from the 2000's brought back, or one from the 60's? If you had to recreate just one game from your collection of favorite games would it be the one will small additions, or the one completely re-imagined, where it would blow the mind of someone from 2001?
Remake...
