I'd say about a million or so of current PS4 sales is hype, but tbh out of the 3 consoles PS4 is your safest bet, in terms of games and brand reliability. If you were a general consumer from the last 9 months who knew they wanted a current gen consoles chances are you went with PS4.
Btw I think it's hilarious the PS4's online AD campaign is basically saying "It's tough having to wait for the games you want post launch, so here's an inspiration quote t...
That's the thing, from those franchises either I have a strong connection with them or I know they will be high quality. If I have X amount of Dollars I'm gonna spend them where I feel I will get the best value. I'm not gonna buy a CoD game if it's going be like Ghosts, I want a quality game that doesn't feel like a rehash. If codAW is good it will be frustrating WiiU got the bad CoD game and not the good one.
I want the to drop the mentality "Bigger is the only option". For example they don't think a Time Splitters 4 will sell since it's an FPS that doesn't go for cutting edge graphics or tough, gritty visuals. I look at the FPS landscape and there are almost no FPS' centered around fun, color, and zaniness. There's military shooters then there's Team Fortress 2. There's a big reason I'm excited for Devil Third: the multiplayer looks crazy, unique, and a t...
Each company has a different set of philosophies, how they create and market games.
Nintendo does games from the ground up. They introduce mechanics and visual styles anyone can understand and gravitate to, whether you're a child, a parent buying for a child, or an older gamer who appreciates solid game design. Typically gamers who think they're too mature for the games Nintendo makes leave them be, which is the negative. However they are easily the biggest video game...
99.9% of the time playing games is for fun, with some complex memorization and mechanics to perform. Maybe if you're a Top 5 Starcraft 2 player you can explain how you're an excellent multi-tasker with proficient micro-management skills. However the biggest obstacle is the interviewer having a single clue what it means to be highly skilled gamer. If you told just about any job you're graded as a Chess Grandmaster I'm sure many will understand how smart and creative you are. Wi...
Ideally Nintendo will sort levels according to highest rated, most downloaded, rated difficulty.
Yep, also his Gnar form doesn't have an Ultimate, so if you revive and head straight for a fight there is a chance you are only regular gnar for a few seconds, with only some poke as a weapon. His normal form should have had an Ultimate where he gains Bonus AS and increased rage generation, so you can quickly evolve when you need to.
Yep, 30 years and hardly anything to show for it.
There are games, but no Mario RPG has come close since (though I really enjoyed Bowser Inside Story).
Nintendo's doing like what they did with Star Fox, trying to reinvent a series that was was still high quality and fresh that didn't need reinventing.
The recent Paper Mario games rely a little too much on gimmicks I don't feel transition well after a few hours, eventually you want to go back to the original format
I'm very confident this game will bridge fans of both IP's and gained increased sales because of it. If you don't care for Zelda much but always get Dynasty Warriors I see you buying or heavily considering to buy it, and if you're like me who likes the Zelda series but isn't turned on to Dynasty Warrior you are also thinking about getting it.
I actually like the option of not using Exo's. I'm afraid having Exos means everyone is boosting around everywhere and jumping 10 feet in the air all the time like it's Halo.
It will be nice to have the standard CoD experience (I guess it's the old experience now). I have similar thoughts about the 3rd person mode, having more options and playstyles would be nice, as long as each game mode has enough players for "balanced" matchmaking.
Inb4 Reggie replies "Didn't say my name right". Hopefully he will take up the challenge
I can't wait for the free DLC for this game. While the quality is very high I thought the game was a little short, more reasons to play will be great.
The save rooms in RE4. You finish a part full of blood and scares and enter a room of full calm and peace, a breather in a mad world
PS4 fans have talked shit about the Xbox ever since its reveal and now that the Xbox has something good going for it they have to complain and throw a fit? Somehow selling 10 million consoles over 9 months means nothing if they have to wait a few months to get a Tomb Raider game.
I guess Destiny and No Man's Sky isn't good enough, you HAVE to get everything first and have it be the best. You don't like it? Tough. If you've ever rubbed a PS4 game bonus in the f...
Notch actually made a second, called Scrolls. It's a tactical card game, a mixture of turn based strategy and CCG
He's probably like EA, Nintendo didn't comply with one of his demands and is throwing a fit about it. I'm sure his millions of dollars will pull him through.
Yeah, but you get to play as a badass, muthafn Ganondorf.
Finally get to play as Ganondorf for once...with swords. Plus he looks like he tried to morph into his Ganon form but didn't quite make it.
I was fairly excited for MW3 after all the fun I had in MW2. Sadly the campaign wasn't as good and was messy, the maps weren't nearly as good, and I missed being able to go Burst-Stopping Power or shotgun side arms. The decline in quality and realizing IW was barely trying even more turned me off from the series
I might return with AW, but I'm not too keen on the boost spamming and the maps they demoed didn't attract my interest. If the campaign and MP are goo...
Xbox can't afford to get average support for its games. Every bit of ground they give up to PS4 will be held against them. Sometimes you have to show tough love to your partners, they're all adults and when it comes down to it Xbox needs top quality.
