Pretty sure most people went "Oh look, another LoTR game"
Only took 4 iterations to get it right. As in proper control sticks, size, and triggers.
Here Bungie: *a single, inaudible slow-motion clap
I think Mario is gonna be used quite a bit, though I could be wrong ;)
And it needed a 100% increase to do it, most likely Destiny (which we all know heavily went to PS4)
TeamFortress2 and Timesplitters are "messy shooters" that pull it off, since the whole game world is designed to be laughable and zany.
It went through 3 engines as well, and probably got made within the year and was rushed to get it into E3.
I wonder how Leon would look in a beard. He already has a solid balance of good looks but can still kickass.
People identified Notch as Mojang when he really was doing his own thing as Minecraft went full version. People assumed he was at the helm making big decisions when really he wasn't. He was a part of the company but he wasn't THE company.
You can tell he's a game developer at heart and isn't content with one game. He's made his money and wants to do what he enjoys doing.
I remember seeing the early Destiny trailers and thought "this is definitely a Bungie game". The character movement was a huge tell it was a Bungie game since it was eerily similar to Halo.
Nintendo already gives a lot of help to those trying to make games for WiiU. A lot of Indie Devs talked about how smooth the process was for them, how Nintendo was just a phone call away from getting tech support. The WiiU fully supports Unity , buying it wouldn't do much, especially since Nintendo has some of the best game engines already in abundance through their many Dev teams.
Destiny is a sum of many parts that doesn't seem to add up. Bungie added 4 one's together and came out with 5, somewhere they forgot to add the other 1. I guess the 1 is actually DLC.
"Nintendo’s recent dalliances with DLC have been met with mixed responses by the community"
Who is against DLC that's being made after the full game is made for an amazing deal? Or the free DLC being added to Hyrule Warriors because it couldn't be added in time?
This article is at 60 degrees but doesn't show on the "Today" row despite the row having several 40 degrees
Tokyo Game Show is a week away, I would be very surprised if it did not see at least a Japan release on WiiU before coming to other regions.
They have my vote. I eagerly await to see what other great games the minds behind Monolith has done.
Yeah I wouldn't doubt the greatest game developer :P
60 FPS for fighters, 30 FPS for Assists and Pokemon. The stage is probably 60 FPS, but it wasn't revealed.
Smash on 3DS looks amazing, it's a mix of comic and soft 3D.
Does it come in new?
I actually want them to reuse the gamepad on their next console. Improve the design, make the screen multitouch with 1080p (up from 720). It's hard to imagine using my WiiU without the screen, it increases its intrinsic value quite well.
By 4-5 years down the line the tech should be cheaper, and with power above the PS4 it could perform well.
