Greatness Awaits. Can't wait for the DLC in Nov, get to learn and play on some new tracks.
FC3 was great, and with the improvements to mission and the open world structure this should be even better. Hopefully FC4 will avoid the peak and fade FC3 had.
Maybe people learned overhyping games can spoil the fun? Maybe everyone knows FC4 will be amazing since Ubi is basically expanding on what made FC3 great. Tbh it's refreshing to have a game just slide into existence, let the game speak for itself. Ubi is showing some considerable restraint in not blowing this game up to incredible heights.
Other than a few times where I couldn't find a match on MK8, or when I dropped out of a game once have I had any problems with their online. And I've done a few hundred races.
Thankfully Nintendo isn't quite the company like Sony and Microsoft, so they aren't targets of server attacks. Now that their internet isn't based on cheap wifi infrastructure it works as well as one could hope. And any shortcomings is because Nintendo doesn't want to implement t...
I spent $100 to get the bundle. The hype is real
Phil said Rare's project is "never seen before", and we've had Banjo before. I hope it's a colorful 3D platformer/adventure, or something new that's colorful. No more guns, blood, or muted colors.
I have a feeling AE is a troll developer, the kind you see on Steam with terrible early access games. As long as they don't make themselves out to be good without anything to show for it, I think this is all in good fun.
Does the MGS1 exclusive remake on GC count?
Ikr. I was watching someone play TLoU, and a few hours in I thought "wait, is Joel Booker Dewitt?"
He's a great voice actor, but once he's in everything the immersion will be a little less, since even though he looks like someone else, you will have the first iconic role stuck in your head.
There was a period between the 7 and the 4 of "7.4 million".
Does that count?
Hopefully with Bayonetta 2, the MK8 DLC, and with their lineup going forward the industry will take Nintendo more seriously. Nintendo has gained a valued ally in Platinum Games, who has had nothing but praise for Nintendo's style of input from afar, which isn't to micromanage the developer. My hope is we can see this same kind of valued partnership with Valhalla Games' Devil's Third, and with whatever collaboration they pull off next.
Of course everyone is l...
Kinect has been too limited with several problems because of those limitations which has bogged it down. Say what you will about motion control on Wii, for every major titles released on it the precision and implementation was top notch, play Metroid Prime 3 and you will know what FPS control perfection is. Once Motion+ was added into every wiimote Wii's vision on control was fully realised.
Meanwhile Kinect, even in it's second "prime-time ready" version h...
Sometimes, when I'm at a crosswalk with no cars coming my way, and the pedestrian light says "stop", I'll walk anyway. Just because it says you shouldn't, doesn't mean you can't, especially if it means nobody gets hurt.
Besides every online service has a EULA, and if you don't agree to those they lock you out.
You can summon Bowser to crush angels and demons
Have many other games hit 90% within the last year? It's practically the only major nonremade title to hit the 90% mark, most of the contenders will be smaller titles like Shovel Knight and other indies and smaller developers.
Ice Climbers could infinite chain grab in Melee, and it's tourney legal since the set-up isn't easy and you can break out of it within a small window. Unless there's no way to move out of it I see this getting fixed, either way it probably will.
Maybe because it's not quite an arcade racer and not quite a Driving Sim. I don't know how well the usual driver sim reviews, from what I've read it's missing that extra touch.
Sony doesn't have the gaming character infrastructure Nintendo has to warrant a Character line. Sure they've had great franchises, but most of their characters have been used in only a few games where Nintendo reuses characters all the time. And most 1st party Sony characters aren't colorful or distinct enough to get the attention of children.
Skylanders has a strong theme of fantasy monsters, Disney is the largets entertainment group in the world, and Nintendo h...
Nintendo created Amiibo so they can make money. They will sell probably around a million total by the end of the fiscal year, which if you assume they cost $4-5 to make at $12 sell price around 8 million in the bank. Then when you consider Nintendo will sell more overtime and increase the value of their games it gets even better.
These are high quality figurines, at least in detail, many will buy them for looks because they do look great. With Smash Bros people will have thei...
My only concern is if the gameplay and depth will hold up throughout the game. It may follow the path of Second Son, which was still good. But it looks incredibly fun and I love the visuals, they're something Nintendo would go for since they have that colorful platforming vibe.
