It would be cool if there was a way to get the adapter to read with computers so you could use gamecube controllers on PC games.
People didn't like ZombiU because aside from some visual and hit detection issues it was too realistic. The survival horror game everyone wanted but when it came suddenly they didn't. Hopefully a second one is more polished but still brutal.
"We have a mature WiiU game but have decided not to release it until install base rises" Came from Yves Guillemot
Maybe they sold the rights to Bandai Namco because they didn't think they could recoup their losses.
PS2 came about at the height of the DVD phase. Everyone was getting a DVD player by the early 2000's and with a name like Sony it was ripe to sell big. It also had the largest library ever seen. Blu-Ray never really caught on fast, since streaming hi-def is pretty normal now. PS2 was an all around master of its generation, it pretty much did everything especially at a time when graphics didn't really matter.
My parents just got an Ultra HD, big screen TV. Smash has never looked better. The colors and softness of everything is a sight to behold.
When you can pull 1080p off and make everything else look gorgeous it's well worth it.
Not gonna spend $60 on a game that is way past its prime. We all know how average the game is, nothing about the game is remotely revolutionary at this point in time.
A part of me wants this game, but not until it hits about $40 or less.
I will always prefer Super Mario World to the NEW series. The physics, look, feel, and map will always reign supreme versus the floaty, less map intensive New series. Still a fun series tho.
Gotta collect them all.
Now if it cost one dollar more we'd have a complete Pokemon Gen 1 reference.
Their quality control is insane. Iwata has done right on that account (he allowed games to be delayed in the first year because they had to be at their full potential). More than any other company they are scared to death of if they don't release quality content consumers and fans will turn on them.
Their sole business is video games, and they don't put them in the place for big budget advertising to carry them through. They can't put out high graphical explosion...
How many game can we say were hyped to astronomical levels and met the level of hype? What helps is Smash has always been a stellar franchise and they've hid nothing about the game (for better or for worse), there's no smoke and mirrors or pre-rendered trailers.
Amazon better not take its sweet time. Hopefully it ships day one, I don't buy Amazon regularly so I wouldn't know how new releases work, I'm guessing it's day one.
Maybe they mean new content created for LBP3. If you just cope and paste old assets then you shouldn't be commended for it. I don't own it so I wouldn't really know what's new and what's old.
I was waiting for the "and more games coming soon" part. Because that's the key to these selling long term. Pay $12 for a cool figure, use it for the next few years (or maybe forever). It will be interesting to see how they move forward with future sets. I really hope they don't start getting greedy by making old sets obsolete, though I trust them to stay true.
No Nintendo conspiracy to see here friend...or is there???
Dun Dun Dunnnnnnn
But it does seem a little harsh. I'd have to play the game though, but I can see a little where they came from.
Once they announce Shulk working for Xenoblade X I'll get him. Not sure if I'm sold on the Smash level up system yet, since I'll play a lot of solo I might, then again I might just play online a bunch.
Of course Ill get Samus when a Metroid game comes about, tho she will be one of my mains.
Well we don't know how big the industry is for these particular games. Maybe there's so little left after it's bought on other systems to where it's impossible for the WiiU version to get a significant amount of buyers. Then when you acknowledge a lot of these 3rd parties don't put in all the content in the WiiU version (not all, but most) you're less inclined to get it.
I'm only willing to spend so much money on games that I want to get the best o...
I'll buy it on another console used for $20 later. Because unlike some consumers I can wait. I got Far Cry 3 for $10 this year, and I didn't feel one bit of remorse, no matter how good it was.
I remember a Twitch streamer a year ago saying he doesn't buy Ubi games on PC. It all makes sense to me now. Not because of this article but because of Unity and Watch Dogs
I'd buy a Season Pass for just about any Nintendo game if they made it. Mario World Tour 3DS and Mario Kart 8 have done season pass/early DLC pre-ordering amazingly.
And thank God for Jim Sterling
