MarioKart, Smash, Zelda, Bayonetta, Yoshi, DonkeyKong, Xenoblade, Splatoon, StarFox, MarioMaker, Fast Racing Neo, Pikmin. Plenty more than just "Mario, Zelda, and Donkey Kong."
While I do agree that Mario is an overused character/IP, most Mario games are pretty varied and provide different experiences. And Zelda is no rehash, each Zelda is very unique in both gameplay, mechanics, map, and art style
That's the problem with people complaining abou...
Everyone would definitely be upset.
Like the rehashed Fallout, Forza, FIFA, Madden, NBA, AC, COD, Batman, Battlefront, Battlefield, Need For Speed, Halo, Uncharted, Far Cry, Tomb Raider, MGS, Gears of War on PS and XB?
And just because a game doesn't contain nudity, blood, gore, and cussing doesn't mean it's a "kids" game.
The 20 million probably refers to their new handheld NX, which would make sense with the rumors about NX being a family of both console and handheld. The 3DS is primed for a successor, so it's safe to assume the 20 million mostly refer to that. They also meant the financial/fiscal year, which doesn't actually end until early 2017
They delayed it because they came up with new ideas they wanted to implement in the game. They stated that themselves, look it up. Also Nintendo themselves have stated multiple times that the current Zelda they are working on that they have shown footage of is coming to WiiU. NX most likely won't be coming until 2017, and they won't delay Zelda another year for that.
A dual release is possible, but I don't think it will happen.
Fact of life: Smartphone fits in your pocket (well not all of them), console doesn't. Consoles are like 10x the size of a smartphone, even if smartphones "caught-up" tech wise, the console would have 10x the tech of that smartphone.
If they both use the same exact tech, the console will always provide a better/bigger/immersive experience that the tiny smartphone simply cannot offer. Let's say 1 future smartphone has 10 teraflops of computing power, a console...
You should buy the one that deep inside you feel you need, the one that will connect to your heart, one that is honest, loving, and the one that'll give you the most fun at night.
While smartphone tech and specs advance over the years so will consoles...it's never going to "catch up". It's all in the size. When a smartphone is super advanced and powerful, a console will always have more power due to its size, it can simply fit more hardware/better hardware. People act like smartphones are the only tech that improve over time. Consoles will keep improving too.
Did you actually read the article? Because your comment seems to be referring to the title alone, which doesn't accurately reflect what the article is trying to say.
While not a failure in my books, the WiiU hasn't had a great year any year of its life sales wise or quantity wise. But the quality is still there. I've logged hundreds of hours each into splatoon and smash, and with Xenoblade on Christmas that's a couple hundred more at least. Not to mention Fast Racing Neo and the likes of Wooly World and Mario Maker.
We know the WiiU hasn't been selling well, we know it hasn't been releasing many games. EVERYONE knows. But...
Oahu, Hawaii :)
The problem with all these "shoddy matchmaking" issues is that they aren't all that common. I live on an island in the middle of the ocean. I have good internet, and I get connection issues about 1/100 games. My times zone allows me to play almost exclusively with Japanese players. Lag is rarely seen and connection is always stable.
It's just a patent, majority of patents for any company never go into development. No need to get all excited, just wait 'til they announce the darn thing.
Yes there are problems with it, everyone knows that. The problem with your arguments about it is that you refuse to acknowledge any of the good about it. It's not an amazing console, yet that doesn't mean it's not worth getting. It has some great games that lots of people want to play. I'm not trying to cover up its shortcomings, I just don't mind them because I own a WiiU and I have so much FUN on it.
You can argue the specs, the online capabilities, the...
1-3 can all be lumped together, and is a minor problem as the games they do have are considered to be some of the best. 4 is also only a minor inconvenience. 5 is only a problem for graphics whores. 6, details man, details. Technically every system has "missing" features. 7 not "oversized" or "awkward". It's many peoples favorite part about the WiiU. The gamepad is great, only problem is that it makes the WiiU a little pricier than it would have been. 9, agai...
They did plan ahead, their plan was to keep the storage low so people could use their own hard drives with as much storage as they want. You can get 1tb hard drives for like $50 these days. If an individual likes buying digitally they'll upgrade their HD even if the internal storage was higher. For lots of people like me 32 gigs is enough because I buy physical games. Most people also have an external harddrive lying around their house that they can use too.
Everyone has there own opinion, but I think consoles are better, mostly because of console exclusives/first party. You can't play Bloodborne, Splatoon, Zelda, Smash, The Last of Us, Gears of War, Xenoblade, etc. on PC (I know I missed a lot of other exclusives)
Also for PC to be any better graphics/power it's gonna cost a decent amount of money. At the moment I can get a WiiU for $250-$300, and a PS4/XBONE for $300-$350. A decent PC is going to cost a lot more than th...
Someone just had to bring this debate back up...#consolesforlyfe (jk PC is cool too)
I'm not sure you could call Battlefront creative...
This worries me, but let's not get too carried away with these vague statements. I'm gonna wait until it's announced to get either excited or disappointed.
