Yeah, ps3's been out like 8 years man. Around 100 million consoles, compared to about 7million WiiU's. What were you expecting? Of course the last gen consoles have way more players online.
Well my first console was the wii, I was a casual gamer, and eventually stopped playing. I still played xbox and ps at my friends house and stuff, but I was never really a gamer. Then i saw news that Microsoft and Sony were making new consoles, I was excited. Later on I heard abor the WiiU, I didn't have any problem at all telling it apart from the wii, it really isn't that hard. I knew I wanted one, mostly for Zelda, X, Smash and MK, and I noticed it had Ac3 and Black ops and stuff. ...
Umm, wii blublob? People talk about it on the news, and Xbox and playstation don't sound any different from the older "xbox" and "playstation". Wii, WiiU. Yes, it's a bad name, get over it. Didn't stop me from buying one
Please, just stop. The wii u is done this generation? How about XBox One? Last I checked the wii u was outselling it week over week at one point. Mariokart has only been out 2 months, and lots of people are waiting till Christmas. And the 500k wii u's was last quarter where MK was out for a month. The gamepad is awesome btw. I use it over my pro controller for every game except for fifa. It's the little features it adds that makes the experience better, not the full "revolution i...
Here's hoping it comes to wii u.
I'd rather just buy a full game for retail price and not have to pay any monthly fee or anything. Emphasis on "full".
*goes back to playing TLOU Remastered* - unnecessary I think. And while it's a good game it's a remaster of a game that came out barely a year ago with very little done to it other than slightly better graphics.
It might not have been nintendo's idea, they funded the project and supervised it but koei's people made it, so ultimately I think it was their decision.
He's saying the wii u will compete with the ps4 for top stop, not that it's going to get top spot. I do believe with smash, hyrule warriors, bayonetta, and C.T. Treasure tracker the wii u may provide some good competition to Microsoft and sony. And that's not mentioning any multiplats, which I believe is actually just watch dogs and possibly advanced warfare. So nevermind, not really any multiplats.
The wii u is just over half way into its second year man. I own a wii u and honestly so far I would buy a ps4 over an xbox one. That's just my opinion though, not saying the xbox one is bad.
Nintendo would never agree with it. And I don't want to see nintendo games on a ps consoles. If anyone wants to play nintendo games, then buy a wiiu. That simple. The same goes for sony/Microsoft games. And no, I'm not dissing the ps4.
Actually just wiiu 600k man. Not wii
Art style shouldn't matter too much, it's zelda. I don't quite recall the visuals ever ruining a zelda game. I would have liked the tech demo art style to be the actual game, but when they showed the zelda footage at E3 I didn't care anymore. It looked awesome, and an open world? Day one purchase for me.
What is this "more" you speak of? More graphics? More Npc's? Are you suggesting that the wii u is a kiddy console? Because if you are you better check your sources and rethink what you just said.
That's like saying Xbone and ps4 are a bunch of shooters, it's not true. It's not just mario games, I only counted 2, 3D world and NSMBU. Do some research before saying anything dumb like that. I'm not including mario kart cause that's more or less a kart racer with Mario as a playable character. Most of the first party games are great, and the new exclusives coming out look pretty sick. The only thing the wii u is missing out on is the selection of third party games, whic...
It's an awesome game, but there are a lot of remakes, remastered and re-releases going on this gen.
I love third party games. It's the third parties that aren't bringing the games to wii u, not nintendo. Sure their games didn't sell too well on wii u, but then it's released later then all the other versions or with less features/a gimped version you can't expect good sales for that version. According to ubisoft they said they made a profit off of the wii u AC3 and 4, just not a huge profit like the other versions. Those might be the two games that weren't gimped or r...
I know it's not super successful, the xbox department of Microsoft was never that successful, whether or not it sold 80milliom consoles last gen, but I'm just trying to point out that it's not outright failing like the article suggests.
They don't really "need" third party support, but it would be better if it had the support. I love a lot of big third party games but can't play very many on my wii u, it's not a huge deal but I really do wish we had the support. I know some poeple that have skipped out on a wii u because it doesn't have the third party games anymore. Not everyone can afford 2+ consoles.
Wrong about multiplayer. I play the multiplayer everyday on my wii u and while there aren't a ton of poeple on you still get into games just about right away. And there is nothing wrong with the frame rate.
