Art style mate, ever heard of it? Don't people realize how bland and overused these realistic games are? Seriously I play games to get away from the real world and to enjoy some gameplay or explore a brand new world. I'd much rather be playing games with cool art styles.

All the third party devs could be hitting 1080p 60fps if they weren't so hellbent on achieving their 21 million polygon eyelash or the arm hair physics of a character. Look at the new Zelda, it lo...

I don't know, no one knows. We'll find out when they announce it. Too many of these speculation articles.

Maybe do some research before posting next time...Bayonetta on Xbox and PS combined has sold less than 1.5 million copies, while on the WiiU alone with an install base less than 10% of PS3 + Xbox 360 it has sold just under million. Not to mention that it's been out for only about a year on WiiU.

Bayonetta is just annoying. Her moves are so flashy with so many special effects that you can't even tell what move she is doing or where her attacks are hitting (bullcrap hitboxes) I still don't even know when she's using her counter. And the hit boxes are are huge. No matter what I do whether it's jumping or dodging or rolling she manages to hit me every time.

How exactly was this article approved? Biggest click bait title ever, extremely trivial news, and it's not even news because this was announced a week+ ago.

I've actually had no problem beating Corrin (Using Roy)

Who actually bought Xenoblade X for the story? The main focus of the game is being able to explore the whole world and find its secrets, not to mention fighting an extremely cool and large variety of creatures in a very well developed battle system. Music isn't the greatest, I agree with that, but the story is alright. When did video games ever have a non-cliche storyline? Very few at all have a good story. By video game standards the storyline is actually good.

Because video games are fun.

While I do agree with the need to implement voice chat and to stop worrying about the "safety" of players, the article is just flat out wrong about the games the WiiU has to offer. The stats provided don't tell anything about who's playing their games. Downloaded on the e-shop? Most of those are going to be parents buying for their children, downloading it from their own account. Majority of people still buy physical games anyway, so the eShop statistics are misleading.

Just picked the game up about a week ago and so far it's surpassed my expectations. There is so much depth to the game, the combat is fun, massive world to explore (10x bigger than skyrim I think), decent story, cool creatures. Being a completionist I'm definitely going to go for 100% completion of the game.

The thing is the Wolf Link Amiibo just adds a little wave clearing challenge, it's not even a real dungeon. And in case any of you don't remember, there's already a wave clearing challenge in the game out in the desert.

Don't forget Splatoon!

3657d ago 10 agree2 disagreeView comment

Splatoon
Smash
MarioKart
Bayonetta 2
Xenoblade X
Mario Maker

And with StarFox and Zelda coming in my opinion the WiiU has the best exclusives. However, I do miss some of those third party games...

Everyone likes what they like though, so enjoy what you have and happy gaming.

Good list, though I wouldn't count remasters and timed excusives.

3657d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

It's not even a real dungeon at all. It's a wave clearing arena battle with 40 levels. It's not even a big deal.

SPOILERS

There's already one just like it in the desert, the Cave of Ordeals.

What is the meaning of "give up?" Stop making games? Give up on getting 1st or 2nd this generation? Because of course they don't expect it to sell Wii numbers or anything, but they haven't given up support of it.

We still have Twilight Princess HD, StarFox, Pokken Tournament, the new Zelda. All relatively big games. It's not a huge library, but it's not much worse than last year. Im sure there are still a couple of announced titles coming this year t...

Yes a carbon copy would be pretty pointless. I'm just hoping they don't do anything gimmicky that raises the cost of the console or doesn't actually make gameplay any better. GamePad on WiiU was great, but cost too much and was underutilized. Wiimotes are pretty gimmicky.

I also still believe that innovating with software rather than hardware is a better aproach, at least most of the time. Simply being on par with current gen or above with great exclusives and al...

You do realize that with Nintendo the sequel to a game comes once every generation? Unlike the sequels to most games that come every year or two. (Some exceptions like fallout, dark souls, etc.)

Console Zelda game every 5-7 years, and each one very unique in its gameplay, world, and art style. Mario is an overused character, but no one is tired of Smash Bros. There have only been 4 Smash games to date in 17 years. MarioKart is always fun to play, with new gameplay mechanics ...
