I would rather not look at these commercials...if they want to sell their games Nintendo needs to pull its crap together and get a decent ad out here. They should fire their whole advertising department and start fresh. And people wonder why Nintendo is seen as a kiddy company...I love you Nintendo, but you have to learn how to make an ad.

Nintendo needs to fire it's whole advertising department and start fresh. They suck, all offense intended. WiiU and its games could guarantee sell a lot better if it had some decent advertising. It's ads like these that make people think Nintendo is a kiddie company, and Nintendo acts like a kiddie company when it's not. Seriously pull yourself together Nintendo.

It does need voice chat, I totally agree with that. The game is still really fun, but could definitely use voice chat. And it is a little annoying that they're releasing a bunch of stuff in august, but at least it's all free right? And there are new maps coming every few weeks too. I'm still buying day 1, the test fire demo was just too fun for me not to.

It's not that overpowered, you just have to figure out how to beat them. I was the top person on my team multiple times using the charger. Rollers have almost no range. Just swim/wait in your ink and Pop up and shoot them or swim to a different angle and take them out. Just have to figure it out.

That was just a demo though, there are more game modes, more maps, more weapons, a single player campaign, customizable clothing that affects gameplay. And don't forget that ...

Destined to fail? I don't think so. Will it be a system seller? I don't really think so either. It might sell a few thousand consoles. I personally think it's one of the most fun games I've played in a long time. I played the test fire demo and absolutely loved it. And that's coming from a gamer who loves games like AC, Batman, FIFA, And Bloodbourne and stuff (Love most of nintendo's games too). I'm sure it'll do fine.

We know nothing about it...stop writing articles about it.

Xenoblade release date/demo

Metroid for WiiU

Devils Third release date/demo

StarFox release date/demo

Hopefully another surprise new IP or revived IP, hopefully more than one (though not likely)

A price drop could generate more sales if done with all these great games. Dual gamepad support maybe? And what ever happened to project Giant Robot and Project Guard? Though I wasn't too impressed by what we saw ...

You've never played it so how would you know from watching a few minutes of gameplay?

That's seriously what you guys are concerned about? It's pretty obvious that he means the video is 1080p and 60fps and not the game.

I honestly feel like there should at least be an option for voicechat. Injustice had you decide whether you wanted online chat or not at the very beginning, so you can decide whether or not you want it. It doesn't ruin the game, but I feel like it does make the game slightly less appealing. I know not everyone uses voice chat, heck I don't even use it very much but it's still fun to talk to others and there is a higher degree of teamwork wth it.

@moldybread -except the majority of dlc isn't all that creative. A few costumes here and there that should've been included in the first place or added as a free update. And games like AC where it costs around $20 for an extra hour or two (if you're lucky) of story? I mean it was alright, but not worth 20-30 dollars.

3938d ago 9 agree1 disagreeView comment

It's mainly launch dlc and dlc that should have already been included in the game. Developers shouldn't release the game with the dlc already planned and done. You put everything into a game, make it complete with costumes and stuff like that being unlockable. Once the game is finished then you start planning dlc and other side stories that aren't included in the game.
--------The MarioKart 8 dlc is a done very well, and hopefully Nintendo doesn't begin to abuse it. Z...

They need to make the console itself a limited edition. Maybe a WiiU that's cover in splashes of paint or something similar. Bundles like that would surely entice even more customers. It's still a decent bundle, but some actual special edition stuff would be pretty effective. And market the hell out of it, I hope Nintendos new marketing partner does a good job, cause Nintendos advertising has been pretty weak the last few years.
They also need to get Amazon back...everyone...

What's wrong with 9/9/8/8?! That's a good score...and Maybe the game just isn't as good as everyone thinks it is? We'll all find out when it comes out.

Make more...?

Thanks for the clarification on that. I still haven't been able to find the original Wii Xenoblade, probably because it's a GameStop exclusive. I checked on their website and its still full price, sadly.

Wow this game just looks amazing. The world is huge and the creatures are so cool. I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like the creatures aren't really fighting back. Can't tell for sure though. Either way, I'm getting this game day 1.

You make a very good point. It is in fact just a cutscene, and the rest of the game has been looking quite stunning. We all know the graphics aren't top notch, but I honestly don't care. The visual style and cool planet are amazing "graphics" to me. And I care about the gameplay ore anyway. If it's a fun game, I'm getting it.

Well NX won't be releasing for a long while, so there's no point in putting off a game for a few years to make it a launch title. You have to realize that the WiiU has at least 2 more years of life, and there have to be games to fill those two years.

The WiiU isn't dead. It's sales have been bad, very bad actually, I won't deny that. But nintendo is now making a profit off of it. As long as high quality games keep coming (as few as they are) I'm happy. And I do believe that Zelda will still come to WiiU, and that it won't be on NX. I Could be wrong, but it's pretty unlikely. The WiiU is doomed to be in 3rd place, but no more than that. It's still a great console regardless.
