"All of that content" should keep us busy until new hardware arrives? What content? The 4 or 5 WiiU games that were all announced last year? An AC skin of Mario Party? A Mario sports game that no one wanted or was really excited for? There are a few games, like Xenoblade, StarFox, and MarioMaker, but that's not going to last us till the end of 2016 or 2017. Devils third and Fatal Frame apparently don't exist according to Nintendo, which isn't helping the stereotype that ...
The fact that they called it Metroid "PRIME" is enough to kill any Metroid fan. Maybe the game is supposed to tide fans over 'till the real Metroid for WiiU is announced/releases...but let's not get our hopes up.
1. Shoot/cover the ground
2. Shoot the enemy
And there you are, you now know how to win turf wars.
It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good by any means. Nintendo isn't investing enough into it's home consoles and focusing too much on handheld. Sure it's more successful but so would your home consoles if you put some more effort aka more/better games (New IP), and some advertising. With that said, the rest of 2015 is actually quite good for us WiiU owners.
I'm looking forward to StarFox, Xenoblade, Devils Third, Fast Racing Neo, and Mario Maker, and t...
I don't see you all complaining about Assassins Creed having no multilayer.
I was thinking the same thing. Devils third and Fatal Frame aren't going to sell if people don't know about it...sure all of us gamers that tune in to gaming news know, but the masses don't know jack about these games, and even Nintendo is failing to acknowledge that they even exist.
Too much Mario in my opinion. Half the presentation was Mario stuff. I'm sure the game is fun, but at an e3 event we all expect some big announcements of big new games and new IP, but another Mario sports game is just a let down for me. Other than this Tennis game there was only 1 other "new" game announced for WiiU, and it's an Animal Crossing skin of Mario Party. Amiibo are being milked a little too much.
Nintendo...that was a pretty big let down for me. The only WiiU games that excite me were Starfox and Xenonlade, both games we already knew about. Mario Tennis is a bad idea, and there was too much Mario overall in the presentation. Seems like the whole thing was for 3DS. I'm pretty dissapoonted.
Edit:What the hell Nintendo. Where's Metroid WiiU, Devils Third, Platinum Games, Retro Studios. The whole thing was Mario this and Mario that, oh and to top it off let's...
Was it just me or did Jason Derulo sound quite horrible on the stage? I don't mind his music but as soon as he started singing I cringed.
Is it coming to WiiU?
Who cares if it's going to be downgraded, or 720p or 30fps. The game looks fun as hell. Never played Doom before, but this one looks pretty awesome.
Splatoon released on May 29th, so you can't say anything about Splatoon sales and the number of consoles it sold for that month. The game and it's hardware bundle were out for only 2 days during May's report, so the only way we can tell if it sold any consoles is by waiting for the June report. And those fanboys are pretty much off their rocker if they think Splatoon will sell more consoles than MarioKart. It's a really fun game but new IP don't usually sell quite as well ...
First off Nintendo isn't going to talk anything about NX or Mobile at E3. They stated that already, so maybe some of these "writers" and "journalists" should do some research before writing an article.
Splatoon is probably The most fun game I've played in a long time. I've already spent 12+ hours in the first couple of days on it, and in case you guys haven't heard there is an update today with ranked battles and a new map and weapons coming. The content will come,. Online is smooth and is really fun and competitive, and this is coming from an AC and Batman and Dark Souls kind of guy. Is it worth buying a WiiU for? Well that's up to you. I would definitely recommend it.
Matches are 3 minutes, not 2 minutes. Already pre-ordered the game, the global testfire was too fun not to.
It's not *shit*, but I agree that Nintendo messed up with the WiiU. I love my WiiU and it's games, but I know it's not the most powerful console out there. It's got decent power, but not enough to make all those hyper realistic games. Honestly just tone down the visuals a little for Project Cars.
Of course it's the top...it's really the only new big game coming out. I personally like physical games so I'll be getting mine day 1 at best buy, but I'm looking forward to seeing everyone online. Only a couple weeks left...
For all you know I could be in my early teens. And yes it's probably supposed to be geared towards early teens, but they definitely got it wrong. They're not horrible ads, but they need a lot of work. And what I'm trying to say is that they shouldn't just aim their ads at kids. The Japanese ads are decent, it appeals to both younger and older audiences, and is much more effective. Like I said kids aren't dumb, they understand more than we give them credit for. I'm mere...
That's the problem, the game shouldn't be geared to the younger audience. It should be geared to everyone, young or old. Kids aren't stupid, these ads are made as if they were geared towards toddlers. The game isn't a kiddy game, sure it doesn't have blood and gore, but it takes strategy and thinking and teamwork. Advertise to more demographics and you'll get more sales.
So is n4g now "oh I have an opinion that I think is fact let me post an article about it without actually doing any research"? Nintendo confirmed that it's still coming to WiiU.
Edit: Who the hell approves these articles anyway?
