Nintendo said Zelda is the only PLAYABLE game at E3. They never said anything about other announcements, which I'm sure there will be a few.
Another one!
Another one!
Nothing dishonest about the Zelda demo...because it was just a tech demo meant to show off the capabilities of the WiiU. It was in no way supposed to suggest the art style of the next Zelda.
Anyone else getting tired of these articles? This is like the 10th one that's exactly the same as the others in less than a week. And all the comments that argue the exact same things as they have on every Nintendo article for the last year or so.
Can't be worse then their Wii one back in 2008 I think it was lol...
Well there is no way to say WiiU was successful. Had some great games sure, but every console has some great games.
Except that they don't because Zelda is still coming to the WiiU...
Everyone's complaining that they should abandon WiiU and throw their resources behind NX. Now that they're doing that everyone is complaining on the opposite. Make up your minds guys. Majority of people don't even own a WiiU so I don't get why they care so much.
I personally think it's good they're focusing on NX. WiiU is essentially a lost cause at this point, they need a good launch with NX and also need to keep lots of games coming throughout it&...
While I agree that they need more games, a lot more, there's not that much Nintendo can do at the moment. They can only work on so many games at the same time due to the size of their development team. They're planning for the future.
Well I still have plenty of hours to put in to Xenoblade X, gonna get Xenoblade on VC. I still have MarioKart and Smash and Splatoon for endless online multiplayer. Playing through Twilight Princess HD at the moment too. Unlike most people I can last years on just a few games. Competitive multiplayer just never gets old for me.
For everyone else they may have problems as I don't see many new releases coming. Currently we just have Paper Mario coming, though i'm sure...
Been playing Xenoblade X for months now and I had to say it's been one of my favorite games I've ever played. Tons of stuff to do, tons of places to explore, complex mechanics that go pretty deep. I expect to have over 200 hours on it by the time I finish it.
That's kinda irrelevant due to the fact that he said best "Nintendo" games in years. And that's all subject to opinion.
They never said it was coming soon, simply that it was in development. Just like every other console company is doing.
Right...let's sell my console a whole year before a new one comes out. What am I supposed to play for that year? I still got Xenoblade X, Mario Kart, Splatoon, Smash, TP HD. Heck I haven't even finished 3D world yet. If I sell it I can't play those anymore. So no, unless you don't want to play don't video games for at least a year you shouldn't sell your WiiU
They didn't announce NX, they simply stated they had a console in development, which EVERY company has. They did it because people were getting worried as to whether Ninty were staying in the console business, and this confirmed that they are still in it.
And it's fact that NX is a home console. Reggie said so himself, and as I already said Nintendo came out and announced Zelda WiiU is also releasing on NX, a game like that isn't going to run on a handheld. Kimi...
There are too many Nintendoom articles at the moment, but countering them with "Nintendo is totally fine" is just as bad. Us Nintendo fans gotta face the facts. They are in a tight spot at the moment. Profits are lower, console sales are lower, people are beginning to lose trust in them.
Problem is that people are over exaggerating their problems. Saying NX is coming too late, complain about the year wait and no E3 showing dooming them. It's too early to say a...
Well, Nintendo has stated before that they don't like to announce things at e3 that aren't in the near future or are not releasing in the same year.
And no, NX is confirmed to be home console, they've stated that themselves, and the fact that the WiiU console Zelda is releasing on it also confirms it.
And of course forecast for WiiU is at all time low, new console on the horizon, that's always been the case. The WiiU is at the end of its...
First off, he never said its not generating very much. Second, were Nintendo really expecting it to generate a lot of revenue? The app itself is fun for a short while, but it begins to get boring and repetitive quickly.
Half the people that have it only use it to get reward points for mynintendo. A lot of people can't even use it as it crashes whenever they try to open it.
Realistically how many AAA games does Nintendo even release? And if you know anything about Nintendo you would know that they are good at holding off announcements and keeping leaks to a minimum. We know there's a WiiU paper Mario game, Pikmin 4 is supposed to be in development for quite a while now.
I'm not saying they're gonna "win" E3 or anything, but don't just assume all they have is Zelda.
And yes, who cares? Zelda IS awes...
