Your comment is what's a "freaking joke". Everyone is entitled to their own option, so don't go bashing WiiU exclusives when you're only thing to back it up is "Xbox is where it's at."
Maybe because this whole article is talking about who has the best games and not who had the best first year?
So if we don't play third party games we're a casual gamer? Last I checked Nintendos games are more for "core"/"hardcor e" gamers than lots of your 3rd party games. Causal games are games that are easy to beat and don't require too much skill to be proficient in it. Games like Mario Kart, Zelda, Xenoblade, Donkey Kong, Bayonetta, etc. all take some solid time and effort to really get the most fun out of it.
Just like Sony and Microsoft are paying you to bash Nintendo on every article you see...
1-The console "war" just started. 2-The Wii U is not winning sales wise, but I would say it is winning exclusive wise. 3- Limited 3rd party support means less games and makes the Wii U a console for Nintendo games and some third party exclusives such as Bayonetta, W101, and Devils Third. So while the WiiU will arguably have most of the best exclusive titles, weaker sales combined with less games really bring it down. It is a great console to own and gives me a ton of fun, but I real...
I think it'll be close. Those are all pretty good games you mentioned, but I think the WiiU had some pretty good games their second year to compete with them. Bayonetta 1&2, Mario Kart, DK Tropical Freeze, Smashbros, and CT: Treasure Tracker are decent competition, though it really depends on what games you like. The games you mentioned are mostly Action/adventure/shooters, so it all comes down to your preference.
Obviously you've never owned a WiiU. And don't ever mention "rehashed" games on WiiU. Their games release about every 6 years while all those third party games are "rehashed" every year or twice a year (Assassins Creed anybody). That doesn't make them bad games, but don't pull random shit out of your ass with nothing to back it up.
Get the hell out of here and go back to school.
Only focusing on making games on WiiU for 2015? What about 2016?
"Pitifully small selection of mediocre games." You lost me there. Your 3rd party multiplats are what "mediocre" games are. All of Nintendos exclusives are very highly rated, and there are actually a decent selection of them, with a lot more coming. And yes it can match, actually it can better the multiplats from last gen, it's the fact that they're mostly unoptimized shoddy ports that they're not always as good.
Pick up MK8. It's a racing game so the tracks aren't going to be any more than a few minutes long. And there are 32 tracks not counting the dlc. Each track is totally replay able without getting boring.
When have Zelda fans not embraced an open world? A true Zelda fan will have played The first Zelda, which is open world, though I do admit there hasn't really been a true 3D open world Zelda. I for one am pretty excited for this game.
Pretty solid analysis, Zelda for WiiU is looking to be pretty awesome so far.
They already confirmed that the adaptor is not discontinued.
When other companies release a sequel every year they have to drop the price a lot earlier. Nintendo games on the other hand typically release every few years, so the game has more value.
It is a pretty small space, but a cheap external hard drive solves all the problems. I personally don't have a problem with space as I buy almost all my games physically anyway. VC is all I download on my WiiU.
Hey if you don't like Nintendo that's your problem. I wasn't aware you represented the entire gaming community...
Yeah i guess you're right, theres no subtitle yet so might as well just call it Zelda U.
I don't like that people are calling it Zelda U. Because that is a horrible title. The video really doesn't tell us too much about gameplay, all we saw was link riding his horse and slow mo shooting. The whole point of the video was to show us the vast open world.
Actually that's only 3 years, since the WiiU launched at the end of 2012 so you can't count 2012 as a full year. And those games are all exclusive to WiiU, no multiplats on there, and do you seriously think Nintendo has already announced all of their 2015 games? They'll have plenty more games launching next year that they haven't announced yet.
