"I'm guessing they're going for babies this time around." What makes you say that? Last I checked the WiiU is going for a more core gaming experience than its predecessor, so there is no evidence whatsoever that they'll aim for a lower age audience next time around which, by the way, won't be for a few years.
It is coming to WiiU
Haha I was thinking the same thing, looking to be a pretty awesome game though.
Its not the fact that we have a blindspot, though there are some crazy nintendo fanatics out there. We simply don't really care that much about the sales. Yes I agree that it could use some more games (mostly third party) and better advertising, but the lack of those doesn't make us dislike our consoles. It's the fact that we love the games that are currently out, and we're not getting bored of them so the lack of games doesn't stand out as much. And with upcoming titles l...
Whoa, so many fanboys in one place. I honestly like Nintendos games, and that's why I bought a WiiU. But everyone has they're own tastes, if they don't like enough of their games then they won't buy a WiiU, simple as that. But that also doesn't mean they should come on here and start callin Nintendo games childish and bagging on Nintendo in general.
If you don't like Nintendo then that's cool, if you do, thats cool too. But the fanboyism on here is a littl...
"Splatoon looks horrible." The game hasn't even released yet, and most people will agree that it looks pretty fun and has some cool mechanics. Calling it "horrible" already? Sounds like you're just a Nintendo hater.
The game looks pretty cool, I like it when developers get creative. Which doesn't happen too often anymore.
They need more/better advertising. I seen XB1 and PS4 commercials all the time, but as for the WiiU I've only seen one in the past 5 months. And maybe a price cut, not a huge one but just like $25 or something could get more people to buy it.
"WiiU is dead." And you call Nintendo fanboys blind? It's nowhere near dead buddy. Yes it's not selling as well as the competition, but that doesn't make it dead. The hardware itself is selling for a profit now, there are very good attach rates (SmashBros nearing 2 million in 2 months on an 8 million install base is impressive.) The WiiU is not dead.
Nintendo should cut the price to around 250, or 275. They should've at least lowered the price for the holidays and Black Friday as that would've surely convinced more people to check it out. I do remember an earlier article stating that Nintendo was planning a price cut for early 2015, but we'll see what happens I guess.
Yeah, a lot of WiiU owners like me thought they would surely make a substantial boost in hardware numbers. And while it did see a rise it wasn't what we hoped/expected. Our predictions happened to be wrong, do you want a trophy now?
What's he supposed to do? Tell everyone "Oh our console is a failure by the way, we don't think it's ever going to make us money, don't bother buying it." Seriously, of course he's going to talk it up. It's a great console, and he's trying to promote it/make it look appealing to people.
I believe he means it's doubled over last year? Not entirely sure though.
For "The PS4 and Xbox One Consoles." Not WiiU...so the WiiU shouldn't be tagged.
My IQ just dropped a little bit.
Get the hell out of here and go back to school.
What we know: Nintendo is planning a new console
What we also know: So is everyone else and this is about 3 years too early to be worrying about this kind stuff
Yes we know you hate Nintendo, that doesn't mean you need to share the hate with all of N4G on every article pretaining to the WiiU.
Oh go "rinse and repeat" your bull s*** somewhere else.
So a new console is mentioned, Zelda has been delayed a little, and now everyone is freaking out saying WiiU is officially dead and Zelda will be on NX. Zelda is coming to WiiU, all 3D Zella's have been delayed at some point, so everyone needs to calm down.
