Seriously? I coulda sworn it's only been like 6 months or something... God damn does time fly.
Piracy is good for the industry guys, whether you like it or not.
It allows people who don't have the money, to still experience the games and spread word about them. Piracy helps the music industry a lot, contrary to the beliefs of most corporations.
I know if I created a game, I would want as many people to play it as possible, whether they paid or not.
Not many people can afford all the games that come out. Some games you just have to pirate, while others you...
I think Wiimaniac's comment was sarcastic. As his comment means people have been saying that PC gaming is dying for ages now. Yet, it's not dead.. lol. It's "still dying", in that idiots keep saying it's dying haha.
But I could be wrong, could be intentional or not.
The Hardware part of this article is incredibly flawed. If your a PC gamer, you would know that you don't need to upgrade every few months to play the latest games. That's the same crap console fanboy's spout.
New GPU generations come out on average every year, not few months. Same goes for CPU's. They both operate on a TICK-TOCK schedule. The TICK is a new generation & fab size, and a TOCK is just a new fabrication node, bringing the manufacture size down a bit, and thus cos...
@likedamaster: There are going to be new cards right around the corner for years to come. This is a part that's for people who obviously have a lot of money and thus can afford not to wait for the next best card.
Your either a troll, or incredibly stupid.
This is currently the best part you could ever possibly get in a new computer. So that's irrelevant. It's always cheaper to upgrade the parts in your computer, than to buy a whole new computer of the same performance the upgrade would bring.
My Pentium 4 HT 2.8GHZ with a Radeon x1650 and 2 gigs of RAM can run Crysis.
People need to stop saying "can it run Crysis", that's incredibly stupid. One need's to say "can it run Crysis at MAX settings". That's what hasn't been done smoothly yet. With all settings on highest, highest RES, and AA/AF on highest also.
Because zagibu... The DX11 generation cards are coming out later this year. Why spend so much on the highest end card now, when there's going to be a two-fold powerful card, with improved functionality and support for DX11 within a few months?
Yes that case should fit things fine. Most components are designed for ATX cases. And that one should be good at keeping your internal temp cool.
If you have any other questions feel free to PM me.
Yes, the i7 920 is very good. It's basically a lower clocked version of the more expensive ones. You can easily raise the clock back up, saving you hundreds of dollars over the so called higher-end versions.
But you'll have to switch to an x58 motherboard, so that's extra money you'd be spending. Along with triple channel DDR3 RAM.

OMG dude, your so either uninformed or stupid.
http://www.nvidia.com/objec...
GTX 280... GTX 280... GTX 280... GTX 280.
Of course it's stupid if you just say 4400. PEOPLE DON'T SAY THAT!!!
They would say "HD4400". Because that is the name. The "HD" at the start is how people know it's ATI's HD4400. (Which BTW isn't a real card <_<)
Sure, you have a right to call it whatever you want. You can call it SUPER AWESOME OWNAGE 280 NVGF!!
Doesn't mean it's right.
There's no point in adding "gf" to the start of it. GeForce is the name for Nvidia's whole desktop line of graphics cards. So saying GeForce is irrelevant, since it's already implied that it's a GeForce card by the fact it's a GTX280. The proper name for your card is the GTX280.
No, a true gamer isn't ignorant towards a console. Each console has games that are good for "real gamers". It doesn't matter what your using, a keyboard, an xbox controller, a ps3 controller, or a wiimote.
As a gamer, you shouldn't hate the Wii, because it's singlehandedlly helped induct tons of people into the world of gaming. Even if it's mostly casual gaming, it's at least a good start in increasing the gaming userbase.
It does look good, you have to play the game on decent settings for yourself to see. Or your looking at the previous version screenshots that are still on the site.
Plus MindArk has a lot smaller development team than Crytek had.
Fact of the matter is, Apple's tweaked battery technology is unstable if the creation of said battery isn't perfectly done.
You most likely have a virus or an error in your windows installation. It's not Firefox's fault.
Download and run Spybot Search & Destroy. And also a virus scan wit hany other programs you may have.
Then pirate Auslogics Boostspeed and run it's registry scanner.
This article is bullshit on the security warnings. IE8 isn't the only one that does that. Firefox gives warnings for unsafe sites also.
Can't wait to see it! It's looking to be one hell of a card. Not just a transistor increase like ATI has done with the HD5000 series.
It's possible because this MMO has a real world cash economy. The in game currency called PED, is 10 PED = 1 USD. The game allows you to withdraw and deposit the money whenever you want. So if you earn PED in the game, you can withdraw it back out for cash in real life lol.
@dirthurts: 2 GLFOPS is extremely low lol. Think you got some numbers mixed up.
The HD4870 hits 1200 GFLOPS.
The HD5870 supposedly hits 2880 GFLOPS.
That's 480 GFLOPS more than an HD4870x2.
2.8 TERAFLOPS.
