NXG is the best. His calibration video made me realize I was messing up my input delay with some of the post processing effects.

Highly recommend to anyone with an HD display. It goes beyond 'select game mode'

He needs more subscribers.

It's all that Nicksetzer1 does on this site. Passive anti-Sony rhetoric.

Hey look its another article submitted by Nicksetzer1 with anti-Sony undertones.

What a shocking development...

Make no mistake, Nicksetzer1 may come off as level headed and well written, but 90% of his posts seem to be in console vs console articles.

He's usually quite passive in his pro-MS stance, but it's still there every time.

I'll personally never understand why people spend so much time worrying about this stuff.

Pretty cool idea to let each previewer select which class they wanted to demo. I've read about the Titan and Hunter class so far, but I'd like to see some more info on the Warlock since it looks ridiculously OP.

It sounds amazing but it's extremely hard not to be skeptical with an Ubisoft title.

I have zero expectations for this game to have a smooth launch. This is some pretty ambitious stuff.

I thought both MS and Sony had strong showings.

Regardless of the big announcements, Sony won in my books because Naughty Dog and Guerilla are freakin' god tier developers and had live gameplay demos. The former being completely unexpected, I hadn't thought we'd see gameplay for Horizon.

Straley's little malfunction was perfect, I'm not sure how many would have believed it was an on the spot gameplay section otherwise.

I'm about as big of an Uncharted fan as there is, but I have to say I enjoyed the Tomb Raider reboot a bit more than I did Uncharted 3 (UC2 is still the best campaign ever).

I liked the open environments and how most of the enemy encounters felt organic. It was more of a "stumble across an enemy patrol while navigating the environment" type of encounter rather than just waves of baddies in a constructed arena (though there were a few of those).

For all it's faults, Shadowfall has some amazing MP. It's really quite underrated.

I know Guerilla has more than one studio, I wouldn't mind another Killzone game (as long as it doesn't take away any focus from Horizon!).

And this is exactly what I'm talking about. Gamers entitled to the point that they actually believe their hobby should be free.

What a joke.

Wow 40 whole dollars. That's like...A steak and a beer at a decent restaurant.

Gaming should be free! I want to pay $60 once and be entertained forever!

They're the exact same company gameplay wise. One might argue better.

What the hell is wrong with getting new content a few times a year? This isn't a tiny DLC like TDB which was a disappointment. They seem to have learned from that mistake.

I'm not excusing the lackluster campaign from vanilla Destiny, but people complaining about having to pay $40 for something that could give hundreds of hours of playtime is absurd.

Gaming isn&...

This isn't even close to true. The had placeholder assets for the first two DLCs.

The Taken King is the start of 'year 2'. None of it is in game right now.

Oh for f**ks sake, DESTINY DID NOT COST 500 MILLION. That was the projected budget for their 10 year plan including marketing.

People really need to stop saying that.

Theatre mode? Are you on ps4? After great matches I just click the share button and it saves the last 15 minutes.

@thorstein

This expansion is bigger than TDB and HoW combined. Has its own story campaign in addition to new PVP maps and modes, multiple strikes and a 6 man raid. They also confirmed each new subclass is discovered through a different quest line. They don't just unlock right away.

I feel like they need a 60 dollar physical e...

Exactly. There was no point during The Witcher where I felt it would be better with my own character.

Having a set protagonist allows the writers to really build her world and history. It's far more personal from a narrative perspective.

The fact that the narrative is being crafted by the lead writer from Fallout NV just makes it that much better.

I also can't get over the fact that they have TW3's quest designer. Oh man.

I have to agree with this even with the digital mancrush I have on Nathan Drake.

3948d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Guerilla's tech wizards + The Witcher 3 quest designer + Fallout: New Vegas lead writer = HHNNNNGGGGGGGGG.

This game is going to be something else. I was NOT expecting to see actual gameplay.

That's how you do a reveal. No CGI trailer or "cinematic angles" of gameplay.

3950d ago 17 agree1 disagreeView comment

The pace was pretty nonstop. It actually could have used a bit of filler to space out those trailers that just came one after the other during the middle section.

Not complaining though!

3950d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

They have to save something for other conferences! I'm assuming that one is a bit further down the pipeline release wise so it'll be at Gamescom or the Playstation Experience show at the end of the year.
