As a lifelong Raptor fan (shut up) this is great news.
Tracy never should have left :/
By "other pressing matters" he means calling Phil Spencer's cellphone and breathing heavily into the receiver.
And you'd like it less if it was also on another system?
I...I just don't get the console fanboy mentality.
I don't have an X1 yet (waiting for Tomb Raider), but can I join in on this back patting, well said circlejerk?
Phil Spencer is a cool dude, I can see why dudebro nation has such a huge broner for him.
Hey Peter...I didn't play the campaign in BF4 because it was glitched on PS4 and constantly reset my progress. I gave up after going through that same damn intro sequence for the 10th time (which was well done, but still).
I liked the campaign in Advanced Warfare better than the multiplayer. Black Ops had a great campaign too (Reznov FTW).
Matchmaking on raids is just a terrible idea.
I mean, sure, implement it. Then have 6 'casual' players try to coordinate the Oracles or transfer gates at Atheon. What if most of the team didn't even have mics? It would be awful and make the game look worse.
There is a low level version of POE - 28. Rare gear can get you to 28 (crucible drops). Vendor legendary gear puts you to level 33. That's not a "tall order" anymore with how quic...
So those who have a group of friends to play PVP and occasionally raid with are suckers for paying a whopping $40 (seriously, when did this become a lot of money) for hours and hours of entertainment?
Okay then. Find me another medium where I get that much value for my money.
The game has many flaws, but it's still one of the best co-op experiences out there and it has extremely polished FPS mechanics.
I love all these people just saying "no" who don't even know what the hell is in the expansion.
Go over the Gameinformer and read their feature on it. Bungie let them play it for an entire day with no limits, they seem confident in what they've done this time around.

@b1uBurneR
Okay, now that just sounds like trolling.
"Needs more real-time migrating birds and animal crossings.
6/10 -IGN"
Based on what I've heard from people who have actually played it, yes.
Bungie screwed up a lot with the launch of the original game, this expansion is a big step towards their original vision.
I don't think we'll see a true embodiment of that until "Destiny 2" when they drop last gen support though.
I'd be perfectly fine with this console generation being 5 years long...so new systems in fall 2018.
I doubt that's what we get though. It's more likely going to be 2020.
Yikes, I'm going to be 30 by then :/
There's no definitive answer here, articles like this are ridiculous.
I did almost all my gaming (outside of exclusives) on 360 last gen because I much preferred the controller.
The deciding factor in getting a PS4 first this time around, disregarding hardware differences, was the DS4's improvements. It feels perfect now. The battery life is a bit of a bummer, but one is always charging.
I knew people who preferred the DS3 to 360'...
Does Sully get fully rendered chest hair that dynamically reacts to environmental forces as well? How bout Drake's brother Sam?
These are important questions!
FFS, you don't need the cloud to have destructible environments. The E3 demo showed you how real and dynamic the levels are in this game, offline.
People are going to be really disappointed when they see Crackdown's campaign mode the way this hype train is going.
I no it's not a Sony owned IP, but I'd kill for a Bioshock Trilogy @ 1080p/60. The games always kind of chugged on last gen systems and I was jealous of their PC counterparts.
2K Games needs to hire someone to get on that immediately, if they haven't already.
There was plenty of Unchartedness in that demo.
Not that that's a bad thing, or unexpected. Phil Spencer wanted this series specifically to compete with Uncharted. It makes sense.
@NemesisTheGod
Come on now, Killzone: SF was a great multiplayer game. The campaign was lackluster and likely rushed to make launch, but it was certainly a graphical showcase.
Also, the MP WAS 1080p. It was just a 1080p image formed by 2 lower res projections. The technique is nothing short of brilliant, really, when you consider that it allowed them to basically double the framerate while the visual effects remained.
I'd like to see more...
It doesn't seem like they're going for "best looking game out there" this time around, honestly.
They've prioritized framerate over visuals/effects. Nothing wrong with that in a competitive multiplayer game, but maybe not what people expect from a new Halo title.
@gfk342
The Halo games WERE some of the best looking last gen, you can't argue with that.
Whether it looked better than TLoU, Uncharted, Killzone, etc is more about what you prefer in terms of art style.
The actual engine itself was extremely impressive. The lighting tech from Halo 4 was created by Corinne Yu, who's now working at Naughty Dog on Uncharted 4. It was such good stuff MS patented it.
What's throwing...
Us existing was never in question, it's the suffering we've been through that makes us question why we still exist.
I mean...we have 10,000 fans OUTSIDE the stadium during playoff games: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
