My worry is replay value.
I don't believe there's going to be MP as I don't see how the mechanics would work, so the campaign would have to be fairly lengthy + have some sort of incentive to replay it.
Name checks out. Console warrior confirmed.
This looks amazing and Remedy is a top notch studio, but Naughty Dog has a flawless track record. We'll have to see.
I played it through twice and really enjoyed it...I just wanted more of it, damn it.
The closing shot of the game was so spectacular - I wanted to keep going!
I really do think the sequel will be stellar. RaD spent so much time building their engine, with that in place they can shift the focus to gameplay. It would also really benefit from MP, as the mechanics were on point.
Not expecting an Uncharted 2 level leap, but more like Assassin'...
Shadow Complex was so great.
Didn't hurt to have Nolan North voicing the main character either :P
Triple A quality production in a downloadable game, not too common and unheard of at the time.
I'm assuming this won't be a valid control set up for FPS games?
It would cause some SERIOUS imbalance. I'm pretty good with a dualshock but it's nothing like how I could aim back when I played CS/Doom/UT3.
You'd be better off using a void shotty or sniper, Split Shifter isn't a great archetype of fusion rifle.
What do you know about it? What have you seen outside of a CGI trailer?
Genuinely curious, I've searched and still don't know exactly what the game is. There's very little info on it.
You're not in the minority, the minority are the entitled asshats who think Sony owes them Killzone Shadowfall or something for free. Even though they'd probably complain about that too because as PS4 owners they likely have it already. That minority is just a vocal one on the internet.
The majority don't frequent a site like this complaining, they just see the free game and probably give it a try because why not?
Xbox is in it's last generation? What an absurd statement.
They've never done well in Japan, Playstation has always been preferred in Europe.
Xbox will go for as long as Microsoft wants it to and they do extremely well in North America.
I still have no idea what Scalebound really is. All I've seen is a CGI trailer, which gives no indication to gameplay.
I'm assuming 3rd person adventure/action RPG?
"Why I left Xbox..."

Hilarious.
Considering what God of War 3 looked like on PS4 with just a resolution, texture and FPS boost, I can't wait to see what they're capable of building exclusively for this hardware.
SSM also helped Ready At Dawn with the engine for The Order, those guys are some tech wizards.
Just give us custom MP games/lobbies and I'll be happy.
I love the gunplay so PVP is a blast, but it's stale as hell with the current weapon "meta" and most 6v6 modes are just shotgun orgies.
I get that there's a weapon balancing coming, but they need to have them come more frequently in the future. A game like this needs a consistently shifting meta, not a weapon rebalance every 5-6 months.
That said, I think the true s...
Rockstar actually released 5 games last gen.
GTA 4, Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, Max Payne 3, GTA 5.
Not all the same studio of course, but it was more prolific than they usually are.
(Actually it's 6 counting that ping pong game!)
Oh man, calling something overrated just because it "isn't for you" is ridiculous.
Bloodborne isn't for me, but it doesn't mean I think it's overrated. It looks incredible, I just know it's not my type of game.
Don't give this tool your clicks.
EU?
Damn it. Was going to jump on those Hotline Miami deals.
Bastion $3.45 and Transistor $5
Anyone who hasn't played these and is even slightly interested, do it!
I'm not a big "indie" gamer but absolutely loved both titles. Amazing mechanics, art style and incredible soundtracks.
I'd probably pay full price just for Killzone 2 multiplayer @ 60 FPS. That game was so damn good.
It definitely had the best hitboxes I'd seen in a console shooter to date. Everything was so on point. If you had good aim you were damn well getting that headshot, which was a big contrast to the COD games out at the time.
Yep. Played the UC2 campaign more times than any other single player campaign.
Still Day 1 for me (it's been a few years since I've played any of them).
Plus, it's more money towards my favorite developer. I love supporting ND.
Too little too late? It's the beginning of year 2 in a 10 year timeline.
They acknowledged that they screwed up a lot with vanilla Destiny, but anyone willing to give up on Bungie this early is crazy. They're still incredibly talented, as evidenced but the top notch gunplay, mechanics, visuals, etc.
The game wouldn't still have so many players and attention paid to it if the core mechanics were bad.
