The best part is not all of the visual effects are enabled on the PC beta. It's going to look even better on release when all the post effects are added in.
But visuals aside, this game just feels and plays "tighter" is the best way to describe it.
Even at medium settings and sub 1080p resolution this game looks great on PC. Console gamers are in for a real treat because it is gonna be on par or better than that on the next gen consoles.

I'd prefer a higher fps. Especially since I am used to running at 100+ in a lot of games on my PC. It is noticeable in shooters and 3rd person action games when the fps is below 40 or so.
Flop? No. I can install it and run my games without having to buy windows. The 2nd and 3rd world countries alone will ensure it is a success.

My favorite game with his name attached to it of all time was PC version of Rainbow Six: Raven Shield.
I think the headline was sarcasm. Steam has another handful of games being released daily on their service.
I think it makes it easier for people who are not colorblind as well. (maybe it is just me?) Try it out and see if it helps you as well.

I will probably never buy a steambox unless it is subsidized price hardware. I will keep building my own PCs. However SteamOS, BigPicture Mode, and the new Steam controller will certainly make an entrance to my living room. (Bigpicture mode has been in my living room now for a while!)
Rage is OpenGL, not DX. Its probably just a driver issue.
For that much I'll stick to building my own. If the hardware was sub-retail price I of course would have no problem buying one.
