I bought a PS4. It is basically playing CoD and Contrast because I already BF4, AC4, and the other multiplats on my PC. I'm not interested in KZ or Knack. Although I might rent KZ since it is supposed to be a pretty to look at game.
I'm just waiting all the games to come in. But at least I know when they do I will own the system.
I feel that having played several of Cryteks games over the years that they have made plenty of good games. Maybe not mind blowing but still very solid.
But then again I played them on PC when they released and not years later on a console after the "wow" effect had already been lost so maybe that is why I think that?
Thank God for Forza and DR3 I guess. I wanted Ryse to be good. But I just knew it was just a fancy tech demo from the gameplay vids.

I hope not. I feel the reason the games are so well done is because they spend more time on them.
Then, Orbilator, you know NOTHING of PC gaming. Because those games were beat BEFORE they came out on the console of choice. (in terms of graphics fidelity, I'm not speaking as the "fun" factor of the games)
Too hot? It is under-clocked already from its typically stock running speed. My 8-core AMD CPU in my PC runs pretty close to this same pattern. It idles lower then when a game or application that is more demanding is started it jumps from like 3.6ghz or something to 4.2ghz.
Its pretty standard these days for AMD CPUs. Whether the PS4 does this or not I don't know. But it wouldn't be much of a stretch to say it is possible since the rest of AMDs desktop/laptop line up...
I would have to agree. Controlling one character is much easier than controlling hundreds of units and managing an economy.
I might get one tomorrow at 8am for the sole reason to play with my younger brothers because that is what they are getting.
To me MS has a lot to prove after the unveiling this year and the RRoD debacle that cost me 2 X360's before I got the S version. I liked my 360 way more than my PS3. However this generation I am pretty sure at this point my PS4 will be my go to console for when I am not PC gaming.

When I say I got a feeling I mean from the people I've know that have played the demo at game shows and the other media out there that has talked about it their opinions of it are not very high.

Obviously there is enough demand there seeing as how Star Citizen has one of the most successful kickstarter funding in history.
I can't wait for this game. I'm going to build a whole new PC and get the newest flight-sim joystick and peripherals just for this game.
I'm enjoying playing this game with my daughter. But if it wasn't for her wanting to sit next to me and try to help solve the puzzles I probably would have never played it. Free or not.
