Yeah, she co-wrote U2, a title Druckman also carried on that project. However, Hennig took the job as sole writer on U3, which had arguably the worst story of the three main games. I have to agree with Alex. ND is better off without her.
Another know-nothing commenting on N4G. If money was really the issue, they would have cancelled projects that were further from completion. You don't cancel a project four years into development because you suddenly realize you don't have the budget for it. GG's project, which is 2.5 years old, would have gone first, as would any that had less dev time. There are a number of reasons to cancel a project of this nature, none of which you seem interested in, what with your misinform...
I've lost all respect for people that can't be bothered to do a little research before making statements that insinuate a false version of reality.
It wasn't Ken Levine, it was 2K. And no, the company wasn't doing great. They took six years to produce a game whose revenue didn't come close to equaling the cost of production and revenue forgone from other projects that could have been completed in that time.
Edit: In a way, it was Levine's fault, as his poorly managed team sunk such a large pile of cash into the game that the survival of the company was wholly dependent on that one game.
Ha! This has nothing to do with you being a self described "indepedent" thinker. You want a free game, plain and simple. Also, if you really were a one-man island, you wouldn't get your little panties all twisted the second someone gives you a little shit. Pansy.
How else are they meant to react? More games are on the way, those can't just be made to appear out of thin air. The marketing strategy will see constant adjustment, as is normal.
This is a desperation move on the part of everyone involved in the selling of X1's, there's no need to react to it, especially when you can't keep stock on the shelves.
This has nothing to do with being pro Sony or anti MS, it's simple business strategy. You can argue about reas...
Good thing you're not running a company. Reducing price before manufacturing costs have seen the appropriate reduction results in further loss on goods sold. They will reduce price when doing so won't lose them an extra "X" number of dollars per unit.
Yep, a $350 PS4 next year would make sense, with the inevitable Slim model bringing with it the first truly significant price drop. It'll be interesting to see how quickly these two companies can reduce cost of goods manufactured relative one another, considering the similarity in SoCs.
Yeah, no business would feel the need to counter an obvious desperation move. I can see Sony bringing out some bundles for the 2014 holiday season, but a price drop won't come anytime soon as long as sales are enough to keep up with (and surpass) supply. A slight second year price drop is both feasible and expected, with a revised unit in the third or fourth year bringing significant cost savings.
And what exactly is your post meant to contribute?
BF4 has a better frame rate on PS4, per Digital Foundry.
The Order is beautiful, but it doesn't match the cut scenes from TLoU.
A high powered PC is more powerful than any console. Your comparison is inaccurate and ignorant.
First, there's a thread on GAF discussing this rumor as we speak, so you clearly don't know what you're talking about. Second, you've simplified and misrepresented previous rumors and their accuracy to suit your agenda.
It isn't possible for you to be 100% sure, especially since you are just some guy on the internet and not an executive for either company involved. In fact, your ignorance gives you no right to claim any kind of certainty. Think before you write nonsense.
One game won't make or break the game for MS, unless that game is Halo. I buy Playstations because they have the games I like, Xbox fans do the same. If you want Halo, Gears, Forza, etc., X1 is still the way to go.
Now, if the new Halo disappoints and Gears becomes problematic in development, the MS is in trouble. For their sake, I hope their new IPs work out and they can provide more competition than they appear to be at the moment. I'm quite fond of the way Sony acts when t...
I wish I could report people for stupidity.
What's up for debate? The PS4 version of BF4 runs at a higher res and has a better, more stable frame rate. Digital Foundry screwed the initial captures( their own admission, check the captures by Jack Frags and the other media outlets that were invited to DICE), hence the perceived lack of texture quality on PS4. X1 does, however, crush the hell out of blacks.
Also, I was addressing Nero, the self-admitted troll that thinks it takes substantial effort to produce a paragr...
Don't get my hope up, damn you!
