I refuse to give you 25 clicks for an article that required no more research than a quick visit to other gaming sites or Wikipedia.
I wasn't commenting on the obvious language barrier, but on the fact that most of his articles contain numerous typos that are easy to notice, regardless of mother tongue.
Twice the resolution, twice the frames, all with better models, lighting, textures and effects on completely different hardware that was never designed to emulate the SPUs of the PS3, which TLoU relied upon heavily. So yeah, it is an achievement.
Pretty sure he writes and posts from his phone.
I love how Nick talks about a lack of understanding and then fails to mention that Killzone runs at 1920*1080 in SP. If you really want a like-for-like, why not mention all the games that run at higher resolutions and frame rates on PS4 than they do on One.
Your statements seem to contradict themselves. They boil down to, "I didn't play long enough to have an opinion, but I don't like this game for specific reasons."
Fail
It's just a YouTube video by someone that doesn't know how to take screenshots or link to Twitter.
Great site guys, keep up all the good work! /s
Edit: No problem! I'm here to help, friend!
It's actually ten now, but that's still not enough people to work on multiple platforms simultaneously.
Such a short turnaround would be unlikely. The team has said they would like to develop for PC as well, but they probably lack the numbers to work on a Xbox port while developing for PS4 and PC. Six months is more likely, unless MS helps them out (which they should) and contracts allow it.
How do you not know how to spell Bungie? It's in the headline. Like, the very first word...
Edit 2: Haha! TheOpenWorlder started an account just now to comment and defend his shitty site, then uses the old account to agree with the comment. And I'm the shill, you f***ing twat?
I'd love to know more about this Witcher 3 involvement, since it's literally the only credibility builder you could think of.
Did I defend Ubisoft? No, I didn't. Keep using your straw man to deflect the argument away from your know-nothing, half-assed ghetto bl...
It probably doesn't sound all that shocking to you since you're in the habit of posting articles from WhatIfGaming, a blog that can't even manage a three articles per month average. Your lack of grammatical skill makes me think you may actually be the delusional hack that considers himself to be the sole journalist of that shit site.
The story is most likely full-on bullshit. If the developer in question really wanted to get the word out, why would that person only contact the barely literate hacks at WhatIfGaming? Ubisoft has a (deservedly) bad reputation at the moment, so it's expected that click-bait sites like this will publish nonsense and then qualify it with "take this with a grain of salt" statements. If you confirmed your source, how much salt should we need to take their words with? Either they did...
When shit sites like this show up I just vote them down.
Story quality? WTF?
Do you like this site? No
Especially when it hasn't even been out a full year. Garbage article.
This is why we get CGI trailers. People judge a game that's ten months away as if it's final code. Also, these games are known for slower, more deliberate, skill-based combat. Criticizing it for that displays ignorance or idiocy.
Agree with everything, but Sony owns the Demon's Souls IP, so if the other team took that over, it would have to be exclusive. A mutliplatform release is more likely, so it will probably be Dark Souls 3. Who knows though, they could resurrect an older franchise, or start a new one altogether.
Arkham Knight uses UE3. Customization is the key element. Who knows, they may even be able to make a game that looks "miles way better" than you would expect.
I've been involved in the discussion since it first popped up last night. It isn't even a rumor, just a best guess. And yes, we all laugh at your "News" site.
Edit: It doesn't take an armchair journalist to take note of amateurs that can't even be bothered to proof read. You cover the industry about as well as any other Twitter or GAF lurker.
Yes, you can. Just because you and some exec (that has every reason in the world to spin the issue) can't see it doesn't mean there aren't those of us that can. The first thing I noticed about TLoU and Uncharted 4 E3 trailers was the difference in refresh rate. And if you can't tell the difference between 720 and 1080, you're blind (very noticeable in Ground Zeros, for example). Upscaling also leaves artifacts and there's no substitute for native resolution matching th...
