TLoU came out on the 29th of the month in North America with the Euro release following at the end of that week. Is the author of this article incapable of simple math and reasoning skills? Also, it's hard for a game to lead "throughout July" when it wasn't even available throughout most (or all) of that month. Good job comparing pre-order sales.

It's the one game that they've announced that we haven't seen in years, so it makes sense that it's the game in the video. There's a really good chance we'll see what Guerrilla Games or Quantic Dream have been working on. Plus, playable Bloodborne, Driveclub and The Order should be nice as well.
They've already announced Until Dawn in their press release, so there has to be at least one surprise. My guess is GG's new IP and my hope is that we'll see UC4 gameplay, though I wouldn't be shocked if they kept that for the VGAs.
It must be looking pretty good if they're hyping it like this now.

Good job comparing real-time gameplay against a cutscene that doesn't have to account for game logic, player input or AI. You don't have an argument and you won't until ND shows gameplay. Given their history, there's a good chance they'll give you a lot to arm yourself with so just be patient and wait until they show something. (Hopefully next week)
To be fair, he doesn't have to prove you wrong, as until we see actual gameplay, the burden of proof is still on you. I do think ND will produce something spectacular, but you can't proclaim a game the best looking of all time based off a teaser when you have no idea how those assets will transfer to gameplay. Lighting, geometry, post-processing effects and AA can, and usually do, take a hit once the engine has to account for non-scripted events.

I still have it on my hard drive and I don't even think it's as good as the previous games, let alone TLoU. Opinions though, and this article really is nonsense. If a game is great, or even your favorite of all time, it will remain so regardless of platform. That's not sad.
Objectively false statement about there being nothing but indies. We've already had big first party exclusives for the year (MLB, Infamous) and there's still LBP3 and Driveclub, with The Order and Bloodborne to follow early next year, with UC4 and more unannounced games coming later in the year. Add to that the fact that third party titles look and run better than any other console and you have some very good options.
