The visual difference is significant and it does it at twice the frame rate.

Just vote the site down. No need for this BS to even show up on the feed.
Interpolate, not tesselate.
And on the other side you have a bunch of people that continue to believe in secret sauce.
Actually it was 2006. In 2005 they were still trying to convince people that they had a revolution on their hands. Little did we know it was to be an uprising of the casuals. You know, the same folks that abandoned them for Facebook and mobile games.
The point is that they're not doing well right now and should be trying to attract more customers. Sony was in the same position not too long ago and they didn't start to make any progress until the let go of their egos.
Mario Kart is exactly the kind of game that could benefit from voice chat. I agree that a lot of games are ruined by the both inane and offensive comments that litter most MP lobbies, but there are a few genres that benefit greatly from the communication. These include any genre in which strategy and general tactics need to be voiced quickly in order to be effective. The other instance in which voice chat is great are party games or games that cater to friendly trash talk. Mario Kart arguably...
They actually sold consoles in 1999.
So, just because you don't want it, that means it shouldn't be included? Voice chat is a standard feature among platforms that aren't on their death beds. Nintendo should be bending over backward to attract new customers, instead of relying on their faithful followers that will make any excuse that allows them to stay irrelevant in the marketplace.
Rocky, you act as if it was a trade-off between AF and POM. AF is a trivial feature, as far as power usage is concerned. We're talking less than a 1% impact on performance, which is why its omission is so strange. POM, on the other hand...
More sales = intensified developer support and less chance of third parties making exclusives for the other system. So yeah, it matters to those that only have one system and don't plan on buying another one.
Yeah, the 1080p display, motion sensors and Bluetooth abilities cost nothing. I mean, look at cell phones, those have similar technology and they only cost...
Broke guys that can spend $400 on a console and $60 on games, but think anything over $150 for an immerse TV replacement is too much need to stop complaining and realize what kind of technology is involved here. I'll gladly spend $300-$400 on this, as it's still cheaper than buying another TV for my upcoming racing setup...
At no point did you make it clear that you were joking. I'm not taking things too seriously, just taking you at your inconsistent word.
What a useless comment. It's called a speed run for a reason.

I'm so glad you're constantly on here continuing your unpaid PR campaign, so that I never have to hear you being a megaphone for nonsense on PSN. I agree that the PS4 is great, which is why I spend a good part of my free time playing it, rather than practicing fanboy rhetoric on N4G.

They're desperate to feed their collective persecution complex. Don't take away their next meal.
No, but I think it may be palpable in some circles. ;)
Why would you go back all the way to July of last year to prove yourself wrong when you could have gotten the correct answer directly from Naughty Dog last week? They're using 5GB for games. At this point it sounds like both systems use 3GB for OS functions with improvements likely to be made. However, the Bone will have more work ahead, as there are more features to account for.

The X1 version has troubles with Parallax Occlusion Mapping, and also runs at a lower resolution and has worse dips in refresh rate. If MS paid someone off, they wasted their money.

You're willfully stupid and obfuscating the facts.

That's not even close to photo real and the amount of power it takes to get "real" lighting to run in real time is an order of magnitude more than the best graphics cards on PC put out today. True photo realism is a hell of a lot more than 3-5 years away.
You really sound like you don't have a clue what you're talking about when you mention the consoles even threatening to cross the uncanny valley this gen. Optimization won't ever push them beyo...
