That might just be the art style though (looks like the developer may be going for something similar to a low-fi sci-fi look). If you blow up the images the lighting and texture work look quite good. Depending on the quality of character models you may change your mind when you see actual gameplay. Of course, I could just as easily be the one singing a different tune at that point.
"nobody is marketing their console on the idea of 'your friends have it so buy it to play with your friends!'"
That's actually a big reason for a lot of people and the console manufacturers know it. They're not willing to risk the money that comes in because of that. It's not impossible, but at this point it doesn't look like anyone wants to be the first to offer.
Yeah, there's no way they'd be willing to lose potential revenue by saying, "Wanna play with your friends? Feel free to use whatever box suits you best!" rather than, "Give us money."
"The fact we need DF analyses to discover differences is very telling."
What a fallacious argument. They've done an analysis on every game that they think people will be interested in. For instance, MGS: Ground Zeroes, which runs at twice the resolution on PS4 than it does on X1. They did one for Bayonetta, which looked and ran much better on the 360 than it did on PS3. They do these because that's their business. I click on them to get objective information...
Why are we approving awful articles from these click-bait sites? Especially confusing when Digital Foundry (the people that actually analyze footage armed with technical knowledge) have already shown the PS4 version to be better in every regard.
Yes, but I'm not entirely clear on the effectiveness of it, or even how it's done, number of methods, etc.
Data protection isn't an issue with DDoS. They're literally just pinging servers with bots. Educate yourself before making incendiary remarks, you petulant little fool.
Agreed, but what the hell is saitre? The idiot that submitted this article for his/her shitty site can't even spell.
Edit: Jesus, that's all this person "contributes" to the site are stories straight from their ass.

Just go to all of them and downvote.
The sad thing is that such games do exist.
"Sounds like someone crying about not being able to play Tomb Raider without sucking up their self righteous pride and buying an Xbox One."
Or just waiting out the exclusivity period. But, that would require patience, so they'll just write some garbage article instead.
Yep, the only way one game could ruin the system is if MS themselves published a rape simulator.
It really is too bad Killzone:Shadow Fall didn't make more of a mark on the community. GG giving away free maps could have set a precedent if the game had a larger audience.
Yeah, I might wait until the release of Project Cars to buy a wheel. Hopefully by then everyone will have released their wheels and I can make a more informed decision.
I've been waiting for the 300 to show up online as well. Would love it if I could stick with my G27, but apparently that won't be allowed this gen. Any word on pricing in NA?
Based on Logitech's comments on Twitter, I wouldn't hold my breath. Which sucks, because I really don't want to have to go with Thrustmaster this gen.

Thank you, sir! Now I don't even have to give this jerkoff site a click before voting it down.
And if you weren't such an ignorant troll you'd realize that those are pre-recorded cutscenes. The differences are obviously minimal, as they didn't redo assets there. They did nothing but record them at a higher resolution and frame rate.
Also, if you think YouTube lends itself to a proper comparison, you should just keep your mouth shut from now on.
What a garbage website. Of course the differences will be minimal during pre-recorded cutscenes. It's during gameplay that the differences are most obvious. If you're unaware of that, you have no business writing about games.
I will be taking the time to vote this site down.
Yeah, because you're so mature...

Or because that viewpoint adds to the horror element, which as you should have figured out by now, is integral to the genre. There are few things less scary than staring at the back of someone's head.
