I was wondering how long it would take before someone placed the blame on MS.
I wonder which company will come out with the "Bend-Over Bundle" which includes free lube. Now that I think of it, that would probably be a Gamestop exclusive.....
I love R&C. I am curious though why Too Human which averaged a review score of about 7 is being hailed as one of the worst games of all time by people in these forums. While a 7 for R&C is "respectable".....
Sony and MS need to knock it off. All it does is piss people off. I mean how many different PS2's were there in TEN YEARS? When these companies do this it just screams "we made a mistake".
While the game is definitely average, I wonder how bad the advance hype hurt this game review-wise. On the other hand, the advance hype will probably be enough to propel this game into the black earnings-wise. Oh well, I guess we'll see.
You have to ask yourself why Music, Games and Movies are really the only things that if you are 100% unsatisfied you have ZERO recourse. I don't feel bad at all for these companies. I can't tell you how many times I've spent $50 on a game or $13 on a CD only to get it home and have it suck. Then you can't return it. They've been doing this waaaayyyy before you were able to copy them OR preview them so I don't buy that excuse (it used to be the same way on my Atari!). Are they honestly saying ...
I agree that BR is the future. However, am I the only one that could care less how many discs a game uses? I mean, how often do you actually have to change the discs IN ONE SITTING which is really what matters. It may seem silly, but I always kind of get some satisfaction when I complete a disc. It kind of let's me know how far I am. I remember the satisfaction I got when getting through a disc on FF7 :) I just think it's much ado about nothing.

I wouldn't say they "got away" with anything. The nonstop negative press, The billion dollar repair costs, etc.... what would you like? Jail time?
I have a feeling they will switch to free. Let's face it, until just recently PSN has NOT been it's equal. Microsoft had ZERO incentive to make it free. Now with Pressure from Sony, I feel that MS will cave. Another perfect example of why having 2 viable consoles is GREAT for gamers. Without MS, Sony would not have progressed as quickly. Without Sony, MS would not be getting pressure to drop their fee. Man I love the free market!
Honestly, how many of the people in here saying how horrible it is are actually 360 users? Pretty much all of the negative comments in here are from PS3 users. If the people that actually DO pay for this service were so outraged, they'd quit buying it. Christ, If $4 a month is too much for you, get off the couch and get a paper route.
Where are the shortages? Certainly not in the US. I don't think I've ever seen the PS3 shelf "empty". Are they in short supply elsewhere in the world?

I always love when people bash these companies. I especially love the Microsoft "monopoly" argument. Monopolies are apparently OK if it's the console you happen to own. As a 360 owner I'm THRILLED to have MS throw their money around so I don't have to. It will also ensure I get my PS3 at a lower cost.

The ONLY thing I would say about paying for the service is it gives you the right to bit*h and complain about outages, new features, etc.... If it's free you aren't really in a position to do so. Sort of like if someone gave you a free TV. Are you going to complain if it doesn't work properly? I will say that PSN users should be thanking the heavens for LIVE. If it wasn't for MS, Sony would be a LOT slower rolling out new features.
I've been playing it for a few days now. I actually have zero problems with the camera, and personally I think it looks fantastic. However, the fact that the enemies level up as you do, really hurts this game badly. What's the point of such a high level of customization if it doesn't help you?? That being said, I think if it would have not had sooooo much hype, it would be getting slightly better reviews. Just my opinion though.
