People are so desperate to validate their purchase that they would rather see a monopoly than have any choice. I understand your point. However I'm not talking about which console is better. It's perfectly fine in my opinion for people to be happy with their purchase, and want it to succeed. I own a 360 and a Wii. I will be buying a PS3 when there's a significant price drop. I'm still not sold on BR. More due to things like downloadable content, etc.... I currently own a 360 and a Wii. I'm waiting for a (significant) price drop on the PS3. That being said, this is the BEST time ever for gamers. so how are they going to sell even more when "Wii Fit" comes out? They're going to sell whatever they have regardless of "Wii Fit". I just don't see how it can have a direct impact.
How exactly can they sell more Wii's than they already are?? 1 1/2 years later and i STILL can't find a single one in stores. Are they magically going to be able to meet the demand? You can't sell what you don't have. period.

I'm new to this game. My question is, when does it become more than "fetch" quests? Granted, I've only been playing for about 2 hours. But so far it's "go get some clothes", "drive to point A", etc..... I'm not doubting the game is great, but when?
If publishers felt the need to make them the same, then why does Madden, etc.... come out every year for all three, and they're completely different?? Why aren't they "dumbing down" the PS3 and 360 version so it's on par with the Wii?
I'm curious. And i mean this as a REAL question. I get so tired of these "which is better" threads. My question is this, if one system is so much better, why are the games almost always identical? For example, if publishers are saying that the lack of a HD on a 360 is "holding back" the PS3 version, then why not make a super awesome one for the PS3 and let people choose which one they want?? Does this guy take into account the console's already owned? What i mean is, there are already physically more 360's in homes than PS3's. So when he says more PS3's will be sold, can't that be at least partially attributed to people already having a 360?
It's been a year and a half, and they STILL don't have them in stores by me. The install base is something publishers of GOOD games can't ignore for much longer. I own a Wii, and I'll admit that there is a LOT of shovelware.

I love these conspiracy theories. Everybody HATES Microsoft and Bill Gates (gives more of his time and money to charity than anyone on the planet).
