Serious question. I really don't know the answer. Are they actually losing money, or just "losing" to Sony? Because there's a HUGE difference. I mean, if you're selling enough widgets to make a profit, then I wouldn't call it losing. Now if you're only goal is to "beat" the competition, then that's just a nonsensical way to run a business.

People DO realize a monopoly would be BAD for everyone, correct?? Let's think about REAL monopoly's and how you feel about them: Comcast, AT&T, XM Radio, the list goes on and on. It means no incentive to innovate or improve. So while everyone is running around with their victory flags, Xbox will continue to roll out new features, etc... on a REGULAR basis. I have both consoles, and the closer they are in sales, the better for everyone.

As someone who has both, I have to say I love the functionality additions to Xbox, and the games coming to PS4. For me personally, I wouldn't say either company "won", but I sure as hell did.
