Awesome deal.........for PS3 owners
Can't they just give an option to turn them off completely and satisfy everyone? I can't stand these lights. It's the same thing with Bluetooth headphones. I haven't found a pair yet (I'm sure they're out there) that doesn't have obnoxious flashing lights the entire time you're connected.
I actually wish Sony would stop making their consoles so "square". This and the PS3 slim's both seem pretty deep. I don't have much room behind my rack, and I would welcome the space.
I am now convinced nobody read this article. It is saying they are in a position to take back a "considerable share". Not a majority share, not "more" than the PS4. Simply taking a bigger share than it has now. Sheesh.
Nowhere in this article does it say what the headline implies. Christ, even the preview simply states they are in a position to regain a "considerable share" of the console market. Which could very well be true. A "considerable share" does NOT necessarily mean a "majority share". It doesn't say it will overtake the precious PS4. Settle down.
Would I be correct in saying that it's as described by the devs, but most of the negativity seems to be coming from the fact that the constant (and not fun) drain on resources as well as inventory management are what's "ruining" the game for a lot of people. I'm still on the fence. I would love to fly around and discover new stuff, but I didn't think it would rely so heavily on Minecraft elements which just isn't for me. Dunno.......
For someone like me who is still on the fence, your comment actually makes it sound like this is "No Man's Sky: TD Edition" (Tech Demo). It sounds like they created an amazing "tool" for future games, but that THIS game isn't ready for prime time.

If you don't, you're just being petty and fueling the stupid console war crap. It's a great game. Timed exclusives help these developers pay for the costs of producing games. I own both consoles for this very reason. It takes way to much energy to be negative. I'm surprised so many people see business decisions like this as a personal slap in the face. Timed exclusives guarantee they don't lose money. Can't we all just get along?
Sort of off topic. I own all three systems, and one thing I've noticed is Nintendo games rarely if ever go on sale. And when they do it's like five bucks. For that matter they don't even get price drops for sometimes years. I find myself skipping a lot of Nintendo games just because they're so expensive. With PS4 and Xbox I can usually wait a couple of months and save 30 bucks. But with Nintendo it just never happens. Even 3DS games.
Why don't they just toss out the top and bottom scores like they do in some Olympic events. That way one score doesn't artificially inflate or lower the average of the game. There's only one word for the way a site like that does it: Dumb.
To the people here, yes. It's why the "sales" articles are always at the top. But to the public at large? I doubt they would even know what it is.
Every single time a new game is added to the vault, the comments section fills with either 1) it's not "really" free, or 2) it's just a bunch of sports games. Yet you rarely (I've yet to see one) see a comment from an actual subscriber complaining. This story is still new, but just give it time.......... I love EA Access!

If I had any criticism, it would be that it was a touch too short, and a bit easy. That being said, it was gorgeous and made me really miss those types of games. Sly, Jak, etc...
I get what you're saying. I just think the cost of games is flat out weird. Now that we have season passes, DLC, micro transactions, etc... I just think they should be more creative with pricing. When a game like Uncharted 4 is priced the same as (insert crap shovel ware game here) it just boggles my mind. Look at Ratchet and Trackmania for example. Two GREAT games for $40. Not to mention competing with PC and mobile games which seem to have a much more "subjective" price struct...
First, let me say I LOVED the game. That being said, I wouldn't have paid $60 for it. I would have just waited about a month until it was on sale at Best Buy or Target. The fact that it was only $40 made it almost a no brainer for me. They need to start considering lowering prices. For example, I will have Uncharted 4 on the day it comes out FROM MY LIBRARY FOR FREE for a week. I already have it reserved along with about 6 other games. I just don't buy games like I used to since Red B...

That's not how this site operates. Nobody ever looks at the fact that both consoles are selling well and making money. To fanboys on both sides, all that matters is "winning". If people were smart, they would WANT both consoles to be neck and neck. Then both companies would be forced to innovate to gain the upper hand. If true, I don't care how amazing it is. Not getting burned a third time. Yes, both had a few great games, but support for both by Sony themselves died off FAST. And I don't count monthly indies on PS+ as "support". I really can't think of a worse mistake for Sony then to attempt another handheld with awesome specs and features, but very few games.
