The Vita died because of the exact reason the article is pointing out. "Perceived value". Due to the often cited waaaaaayyyyy overpriced proprietary memory cards (and they are STILL overpriced), the buy-in just wasn't there because it was seen as too expensive for what games were available. That just caused a death spiral because Sony failed to listen to the people that were begging for them to lower the price of those stupid cards when everybody could see the actual cost of fla...
Exactly. No different than the third party sellers on Amazon. Joke of an article.
With another person?
Not sure why the disagrees. Just asking if anyone has heard anything about Sony TV's. It IS happening. Do I need to post a picture of my pro and TV?
Same issue here with a SONY Bravia X930D that I bought 2 months ago. Any word from Sony on when they are going to address their TV's??
Same thing happened to me. Had to switch to 1.4. Using a brand new Sony Bravia X930D. The weird thing is, it didn't happen for the first week I had it.
One of the best FPS single player campaigns I've played in years. Although a little short, it was a blast.
Just the title "is it worth it" implies that there was a trade off or big investment of some kind. It's just like saying "PS4 HDR - is it worth it". It's a feature. It's not like they are charging for it. Dumb.
Sorry! Just realized I had a 2 TB drive installed that I totally forgot about. Sorry if I freaked anybody out.
Word of warning! I backed up my 1TB drive that was NOT even half full. I traded in my system for a pro. When I went to restore from the USB drive, it said there was not enough room on the new PS4! It says my backup size is 943GB, and the total available storage on the pro, is about 820. So I lost everything and have to re-download all of those games.
My latest model is the "Batman" bundle. So it's about a year and a half old.
It IS heavier than the original PS4. But you're not mentioning that for some reason.
Believe it or not, this is the "feature" i'm most excited about. My PS4 sits horizontally on top of it own shelf, well ventilated on all sides. Anytime "action" happens in a game, it sounds like gale force winds in my living room. I even exchanged it for a new one. zero difference.
Since when is promoting your company "bad"?
One thing I realized the hard way recently after buying a new Bravia 4K TV, is my provider (Comcast) is now enforcing hard cap limits at 1TB per month. This might seem like a lot, but, but UHD uses roughly 7GB PER HOUR on Netflix. So as much as I prefer streaming, the bandwidth usage is just nuts.
Unless you're referring to Metroid. It completely boggles the mind why they have all but abandoned this franchise.
I don't think so. I'm playing the campaign now, and for me, it's more than enough. However, I LOVED the Battefield 1 trial, but I'm NOT buying it for a 5 hour campaign. I need at least 8 hours of single player to feel it's worth it (for me). I just don't game online because to be honest, I suck really bad at it. LOL So playing online and getting killed 20 times in one match has zero appeal to me.
Skylanders?
Readily available from Target (not the bundle). Has been since launch.

good old fashioned "payola". Except instead of playing music for gifts, they're trying to get good reviews.
