I write for Examiner - just put my preview up over here this morning too; http://n4g.com/news/1739196...

It quickly went from a definite buy to a possible GOTY - of course there's plenty of time for things to go wrong but I can't ignore that feeling that I just want nothing more than to get back into the game. It's going to be exciting ...

After getting about 15-16 hours in myself, this one is going to be something special. I had a blast with everything but some big memories were using the weather to my advantage right after getting spotted, calling in a supply drop and learning the hard way that it can land on you, and the collection of some high level soldiers for my Mother Base.

@raWfodog - yeah, didn't have a PS3 and don't necessarily want to go out and purchase outdated hardware for one to two franchises - but I was aware of that package. They even had MGS 4 on PS Now which would've been nice but nothing now :(

This explains me perfectly - I was actually just looking for a way to play MGS 2/3/4 before V this Sept and it's just a wasteland and one of the times I wish there was a nice remaster done for those. The Uncharted pack is definitely not necessary, but welcome as madmonkey01 said, and I'll definitely check it out.

No, no vehicular combat, not at all.

I'd rather see that little gas station or whatever with the BoS armor hanging serve as our little workshop/home that we could go crazy with and design/expand.

Agree completely with the voice actors though, The Witcher has shown me the ability to immerse with more and varied actors, as well as faces. FO3/NV and Skyrim suffer from repitition in the voices and NPC faces in a lot of instances where Witcher illustrated t...

I've got to see the Division, but I can agree with most on the list, No Man's is turning in to one of Sony's tentpole games with UC4 going back to 2016 and they can't really lean on a remastered collection to sell the millions NMS has the opportunity to do. Totally forgot about the Criterion announce last year since it was basically just "yo what up we're doin stuff" but totally agreed that if that makes an appearance it'd be more than welcome. It'll be ...

We'll have some surprises for sure, I think it's a good point to bring up though, it feels as though we've seen a ton of big announcements or titles get revealed pre-E3 than I can remember. I very well may be off base and it's always been like this, but my hope is that the reveals are out of the way so they can show off gameplay, answer questions, and give hands-on time. Fingers crossed this also means that this is the most transparent E3 with games crashing, bugs apparent, an...

I haven't played the witcher, and it looks great but yeah this review rubbed the wrong way, and I usually at least consider Gies' opinion, even if I don't agree with it, but this review seems like it has a pretty clear mindset from the get-go, like his mind was made up early.

When it comes down to it an 8 is still a great score for really any game, and it's fascinating to see how one person can find flaws where others find strengths (Gamespot's KVO basical...

Don't care, game looks amazing in more than just visuals. If 2D grass is all you can cry about, things are going to be ok.

Regrettably haven't had time to jump into this one just yet on PS4 but the positive response and fact that one guy made the whole thing make probably top currently on my backlog. Great to see Tom's passion project take off like it is.

Nice touch adding the Shu/Boyes video, this might be a pretty uphill battle for pubs/devs to win with the inevitable backlash they'll get from the communities. It's interesting there's such a split between PC players who haven't been able to trade for years and the console gamers that are used to being able to get their $20 for a $60 title a few weeks later. Should be interesting to see how this goes over.

Feels like EA and DICE are letting their teams totally nerd out over this and its really getting their passion across - individuals responding and replying with info like this is a nice approach and does wonders for transparency as well as the image of these two companies who could be said to have a "less than perfect" public perception as of late. Here's hoping the game is a knockout.

I think it's a natural step, with so much in the way of sci-fi infiltrating the COD series, and I welcome it. There are some seriously cool stories that could be told with the cyberpunk backdrop, I just hope they don't all go for the gritty, grisly voiced, dystopia vibe.

This is super exciting because its so different, but scares me that it might fracture the VR market - idk how MS can adopt VR titles to function on here, but hoping they find a way to make it work. I just don't see too many people picking up a morpheus/rift and this in compliment.

Stupid grown up things are keeping me from attending the first year Bethesda, Square, and PC all doing their own bit shows. Sigh.

I wonder if anyone could really get that IP from Konami - if a monster like EA or Activision notice how much press a cancel got, they might be able to make literal dumptrucks of money. Probably not, but I will remain hopeful.

Completely disagree that big titles are less viable - Shadow of Mordor is used as an example of a "blip" which was nominated for a slew of game of the years awards, sold millions, and is still regarded as one of the most technically innovative titles on new-gen consoles and PC. What the hell are you on about?

AAA games sure aren't as plentiful as they used to be, and that's fine, because it shows that publishers are learning. They're learning that COD ...
