good point - they're throwing an avalanche of footage/news out today and it's looking like the action will just get a bit crazy, which is fine - still siding with the folks a little apprehensive due to the fact that you really need a good team, and good opponents. I liked Evolve for the concept but it really died quickly unfortunately, and unless there's some big news in the way of modes/campaign it might be a flash in the pan if even that.
This trailer concerns me a little, I know they have to show some action but I liked the very deliberate pace of the last reveals and that leaked alpha footage. I don't like my R6 fast paced, I like it tactical like the first reveal and the alpha footage showed off. I'm hoping this is just marketing saying "make it go boom" but god help them if they market it as "the fastest Rainbow yet"
Good for them - pretty solid games that are sometimes thought of as B-Tier but they've got some of the most compelling and organic play I've seen. Cool to see they'll support Payday 2 for the next 2 years as well.

Not giving credit to the video creators featured is a little shady, two of the glitches are actually the same glitch, and the comedy was a little off for my taste but meh.

Right there with you - what really struck me when playing was the fact that I could change pace so easily just but changing modes - heist is a totally different animal compared to hotwire and the others, but they're all enjoyable. Weird as it sounds for a battlefield game, Conquest was my least favorite.
I don't disagree entirely but think that if it needs to 'fit the story' it's just as easy to write the story from the ground up with a strong female lead. They don't need to just shoehorn Arno to be a woman, they need to write the character as just that, an interesting character.
They really need to come out and start talking, PR is dropping the ball and this all just looks weird to the masses.
A female protagonist is the one that I think Ubi really needs to look at - they've got a huge opportunity to put a great female lead out there and at a point in time where the cultural view of women was that of helpless or just dainty set dressing to sit in parlors.
Might just go ahead and pick it up - $32 with Gamer's Club, and while I don't remember Ready At Dawn saying much about DLC, I'd like to think they'll support this at least a little post-launch.

The grammar/formatting/capitilizat ion on this site is a bit of a wreck but I like the aim of the article, some good info. I would like to see a bit more of a "definitive choice" for the game, or like a low/mid/high range recommendation for the price.
Since it's just broken down to the GPU model it assumes the reader knows the models and such, overall a good idea though, and Linus videos never hurt.
The more I hear/see coming up to release the more I get a little interested in this mainly to see how visceral does the story portion. I have quite a few Battlefield buddies that are simply going to skip this one however, which means I'll be playing with strangers.
Still on the Rent/Gamefly list at the moment but with the EA Access thing coming out a few days early, it might actually help me decide.

Haven't heard of Huber before but I like it, seems very genuine, which is always good to watch.
Sometimes Pachter can be just straight up funny by throwing out random numbers and speculation, and for some reason the articles written about him blow up.
His point on MS being wrong about the COD map packs is a little strange because COD and MS still have a strong relationship, and COD at large has a general association with the Xbox brand.

I'll agree - still having quite a bit of unexpected fun with the game. Still uber frustrated with kill trades and getting killed after rounding a corner (at least on Xbox One) but the change of pace between Heist/Hotwire/Blood Money keep me going. If I do get bored there, the Hostage mode is pretty alright.
