Played it at a preview event - trust me you can play literally any way you want and you'd be surprised at the choices you get to make for your approach on every single mission.

"While it may be a bit too early to crown Fallout 4 the definitive Game of the Year, in the minds of many, it’s the video game that defines 2015."

I think that really illustrates the authors point though - I get that it had bugs but it's become an event when a Fallout/ES game comes out now - Skyrim was a phenom and still has a ton of active players and a huge modding community, and while FO3 and NV even had bugs for sure, they were really memorable. That being s...

I think this is a good point for those two specific properties - COD has had a few here and there and I'll play them to see what they're about and usually end up ranging from "wtf" to "it's fine" but never really breakthrough. To Moore's point "these types of games" either have a good campaign or it's utter trash and never touched beyond the first hour or so. I'll play a COD campaign once, a Battlefield campaign once. I'm still playin...

For sure - I got 2 days with the game and it wasn't nearly enough - a good sign I'll like a game is that feeling of wanting to jump right back in and I've had that ever since I put the controller down. If past work is any indication too this will be a game you'll find things and pick up on years later. Truly can't wait to see the finished product. As a bonus the wife is out of town that week, and my priorities have changed from drinking all night to taking down that son of...

It'll end with Kojima waking up, the MGS series being a dream, and a third person section where Kojima kicks every desk in the Konami office over.

When he reaches the lobby he gets in a cab and the game fades to black.

Fin.

You can but you have to hit them square in the face - it's not very easy at all and can take a few tries. That doesn't mean it's not really funny to hear the ting off the helmet off a guy that's right in front of you and wonder what he's thinking as this bearded eye-patch guy is flinging darts at him.

This video has been around for a little bit, but I like the way the game handles multiple ways to spot enemies - in my time with the game I had more fun using Diamond Dog (DD) way more. As you move in a direction he'll spot for you and can take commands to take out another guard a few feet away while you interrogate his buddy. Not to mention a dog that can use a knife is just great.

It sounds like this person was dropped in pretty early on - when I was a few hours in to it back in my time with the game at Konami LA there were roving patrols of guards, plenty of things to do, and it felt like a desert that was occupied.

There are also small checkpoints dotting the roads and jeep patrols that zoom around too - not to mention calling in the chopper to pick up and drop you closer to a good LZ for the mission is crucial. It sounds like the writer just latch...

lalalala I can't see this, I don't want to. This is one of those games that has enough out already for me to know I want it, and that I want to discover the game, locations, and features on my own.

That being said I didn't find the light on the PipBoy in Fallout 3 until like 30 hours in.

The more I see on the game the more interested I become, it seems like a far cry from what they showed way back when.

This article needs to be edited severely.
"online experience the diversion will be – in light of the fact that MMOs are the sObviously, it’s Ubisoft so in what capacity would you be able to not expect bunches of buildup? Word is still out on what sort of orts of amusements that should be played more than a few hours to truly gage whether it’s justified regardless of your time – however that doesn’t mean Ubisoft isn’t advertising it to high paradise."

What t...

It definitely is a weird position to be in as a purchaser of goods - I know I'm getting it because it's a game and experience I want more of. Having played a boat load of it back in May I know the game is great, and unless Konami rips everything they can out, the game will be a contender for GOTY's on a few sites I'm sure. The other side is that really I'm sure we could find reasons to boycott just about every game out there for one person or entities actions, it's jus...

Good god I thought that was referring to the resolution.

Personally I'd only like to see this come out if the idea is truly something that deserves a full game - nothing about what we saw with DI2 previously really seemed to differentiate itself from the slew of zombie games we already have. Make it a true horror game, make it even more insane than Sunset or Dead Rising, but it's got to have something compelling, and it just didn't feel like anything close to compelling.

Epic did well with Infinity Blade if memory serves

Good point - I was prepared to say that Robin/Nightwing serve a similar purpose but they actually do seem to have a bit more motivation and backing, or at least figure into the larger narrative, while Catwoman for instance is really just kind of there then gone with little else (at least at the point I'm at in the game with just the riddler trophies to clean up).

Ivy seems to be the strongest of the bunch from a narrative standpoint as she serves as a martyr to save a c...

I know it's opinion but man I couldn't disagree more - the bits about the story being weak and Scarecrow not being threatening didn't make sense to me as Scarecrow sets off multiple explosions throughout the city...

The reviewer also lost me at the mention of misogyny, I'm just personally not seeing it in the game - while Ivy might not wear pants, she uses her sexuality as part of her arsenal, but to each their own.

The Batmobile does indeed g...

Damn that's actually pretty cool - kind of hope this comes to the US as I missed the movie in theaters.

I can't say I loved ME when it first came out and have tried to give it numerous tries on Steam since, and I appreciate it for being beautiful, the movement is cool, but I never fell in love with it the way I think DICE wanted me to and a lot of other players did. That being said I'm glad that they're getting a shot to tell the story again and expand on it with what I have to imagine is more capital which hopefully translates into a deeper world, smoother gameplay and just an over...
