They should probably bundle this game later down the line, Like Sonic & Mario.
Thanks for confirming why VR is dying.
I'm sure Microsoft will have it stitched up for awards given their partner IGN has bought everyone.
I see an Obscure_Observer post I don't read it but simply down vote it and I'm not even a simple man. :)
five years? It is 12+ years last time I checked
You mean allowing 40 Xbox OG games to run and about 18% of the 360 library. The much vaunted backwards compatibility on Xbox is a crock. If you are going to do it do it right. e.g. 98% compatibility. What Xbox did is barely worth mentioning. They also gave up on it. That being said Sony will probably copy Microsoft all just sell select titles too which I'm not interested in.
Would be nice if they put out a level editor for console and PC when they are finished with the game.
It is just another Metroid Prime Gamecube game, of course it can run on a Switch. IGN already putting their weight on Digital Foundry.
It is pretty much a Vita but worse, Quite frankly it was obvious before release this was going to happen, I say that as someone who bought a PSVR1 but could see the interest in AAA VR was dying in the later years of PSVR1. PSVR1 sold like 10+ million headsets and PSVR2 like 1 million. That is what happens when big studios withdraw support.
PSVR1 had better games as AAA studios actually made games for it. However it was clear in the closing years of PSVR1 that it was becoming an indie platform and when PSVR2 came around only a few hybrid AAA titles arrived and the rest was all indie mobile phone junk. That is one reason why its being killed. Some people will say indies are keeping VR alive but I'd rather be out of my misery than on the life support crap they are shoveling. Many people didn't buy a PSVR2 because they had ...
Microsoft thought players views and habits didn't matter but there are more people engaged with the gaming industry politics than there ever has been. Microsoft is like a toxic party and people know it and won't support the no matter how much money they throw at it. That is important.
Doesn't make much sense to have a handheld that is locked down to the Xbox ecosystem when the PC handheld can run everything. I'm sure the same people that bought the Xbox fridge will give Microsoft their free money though.
They pursued high end VR and the market gave the middle finger to high end VR, At least AAA developers did and all that was left was mobile phone quality games which is basically Meta's strategy. Sony should have released a stand alone headset that was like a better Meta Quest with the added ability to go wireless or wired with a PS5 for those few unique high end experiences. That way they could have had customers without a PS5 and those who have one get an added bonus. That being said th...
You obviously didn't fully read what I said did you. They can't continue to give PC users a better deal than their console customers, paying more for a lesser version of a game combined with a subscription fee for multiplayer access, That is anti consumer. If you think centering a console around getting some games a year early is a good business strategy then your are completely blinded. PC users can and will wait they always have and on top of that they won't reward ...
@AsimLionheart You nailed it. Unfortunately Sony has been walking into elephant traps for a while including their PC strategy. Me personally I've bought all PlayStation consoles but the PS5 I've only bought a handful of games for it compared to hundreds for each previous generation. That is a lot of money Sony lost from me as a customer while aggressively pursuing PC ports and Game Pass. I'm simply not going to fund exclusive games only for them to come to PC soon after with more ...
It will be the second PS5 exclusive game. "Maybe" :/
I'd ask Remedy to release Quantum Break again on all platforms with the FMV's included on disc. But we can't even trust them to do that especially with Microsoft's new multiplatform strategy.
Super Mario Bros. 3 death sound.
I'm actually starting to question if it is even worth it for Konami to do a volume 2. I know they are desperate these days but my impression is the first collection didn't sell well and got a bruising. Second volume would require more work and as with all these volume releases the second and third always sell less.
No code, physical copy but you do it a year later in a bundle.
