To be fair it has been a generation of no exclusives and a lot of remasters. That is hardly going to get people lining up to buy a PS5 Pro or PS6. Sony copying Microsoft's strategy in slow motion will only end up with the same result and upset base too. They should be more Nintendo and less Microsoft and build on their console brand rather than diluting it.
Hard to get behind online only GaaS racing game. Stopped playing GT since GT5.
Also it is for SEGA Mega Drive. :)
Rich is biased towards Microsoft the same way Jeff Gertsmann was at GiantBomb, always flag waving for them. But it was started to look ridiculous after 15 years or failure from Microsoft. A lot of the biased and online Microsoft loyalists have just given up and left. Microsoft are like Atari with unlimited power.
This is Sonic for Sonic1881
Game is over 40gb not gonna happen on a Switch card.
Unfortunately the series drifted away from being a car enthusiast experience to a chav boy racer experience.
Road & Track Presents: The Need for Speed
Assuming what we have seen is partial gameplay it looks pretty jank for an FPS game. Reminds me of a bad VR game.
It will basically make a bunch of redundant consoles when Sony stops selling the drives for them and no longer supports it digitally.
So does that mean people will now take their drive from their other model and put it in the pro leaving a load of playstations with missing drives. So it will be like all those Wii U's with missing Gamepads. Bad idea.
Look how that turned out.
Un-plan all the content. It won't work for you. If you think people want racing games as a subscription service you'll be sadly mistaken.
and on a disc,
Just don't let Microsoft buy you out now that Bethesda is down the toilet.
Considering bluray movie sales have started going up and subscription services are going down it would be a foolish move to not support that trend.
People like you will make cloud gaming a reality in a year and then you'll be the first to complain about it at which point it will be to late to go back. You will have essentially given the company all the power and the consumer nothing but pain.
I think Sony don't understand the target demographic for premium models if they drop the disc drive.
Considering Astro Bot makes extensive use of the controller features and haptics putting it on PC doesn't seem like a wise idea. Also similar games like Sackboy and Ratchet and Clank didn't do well on PC either. The game celebrates the console legacy of PlayStation how does that work on a PC? from a logic stand point.
Either way this continued strategy from Sony has basically stopped me from buying a PSVR2 and I won't buy a PS5 Pro or PS6. They are sending me si...
Put out a physical release with all the content and playable offline?
