To be fair the lenses are often criticised, Fresnel is no longer consider a viable lens option. If I had a gaming PC and was into VR I wouldn't buy a semi proprietary headset that has mostly been designed or the PS5.
lol the nest of wires adapter is back with loads of missing features, The headset is already DOA for PC.
DOA game
Actually I've already seen it reduce positions at companies. What it does do is enable 1 person to do a lot of passable mediocrity and boring stuff rather than hiring a few people to do marketing, secretary duties, manager, other creative and mundane positions. In other cases the costs associated with being a startup company is also making it an easy choice as you fulfill many roles with generative help.
I haven't bought any PS5 games since they started putting games on PC. cancelled PS+ as I no longer need that either. Smart moves Sony,
They'll find out sadly that most of their games are pirated, Ghosts of Tsushima over 500k people downloading it not on Steam, It sold below 70k on Steam.
AstroBot just looks like more of the first game with potentially even less nostalgia kicks. I don't think it has addressed the linear gameplay much and it definitely hasn't expanded in a way to take on a Mario game.
I think there is a market for hyper realistic military games that isn't being served. But it has to be done in a way like Bodycam and Unrecord. Hyper realistic graphics. I think that is your next COD. But Sony of all people seem to be sleeping on that potential.
Sorry but PSVR2 is dead and double dead at any sale price. It was dead before it launched as the "premium" VR scene lost all the AAA developers and now it is all indie mobile phone crap quality software.
I agree, there is zero logic from Sony on this. Sony completely underestimate how stubborn a PC player is. They can wait, I'll now wait as I've stopped buying games for my PS5 and will now acquire them for free on PC.
A.I. generated game.
Doesn't seem ambitious enough if I'm honest. Looks like more of the same and fairly linear too.
Sony completely underestimates the PC players stubbornness to wait years or to simply do without. Which is what PC players have been doing for decades until you started giving your big games away for free on torrent sites. Ghosts of Tsushima was at over 500k seeders on a popular site and the best estimates are that game sold around 70k on Steam.
Seems a bit late now, They said many times on the Steam forums that it couldn't and wouldn't be done. If you release a new version on disc with all the extra content people might reconsider buying it but saying it is offline now is just a slap in the face especially if I have to go online in the first place to make it work offline.
Lets be honest the online only was purely a DRM measure and you suffered for it in lackluster sales, They will tell it is for account i...
The Order 1886 got hammered harder because of the inherent bias in the US reviewer and preference toward Microsoft. Sony has to work much harder to give reviewers state side less reasons to attack them. Now with IGN buying out a large cross section of games media that job only becomes even harder for Sony and easier for Microsoft to get results. This is also evident on Youtube were there are for more active and prominent Youtubers who share this bias, Spawn Wave, ReviewTechUSA, YongYea, etc t...
Another mediocre score not reflected on Metacritic, surprise.
People just don't want to give Microsoft money. Especially on PC this is an actual thing. You can browse any PC gaming site discord to figure that out.
I just wouldn't put Persona on Xbox as there is no audience for it in the first place, which is how it was in the past. No one on Xbox is complaining about a lack of Japanese games. They have conditioned a player base to do without them.
In a sea of video games, lets just say hypothetically Microsoft has paid for 20 or so game pass titles they can't all get equal exposure. It is a faulty premise. In the gaming world there is only room for a couple of games at a time for massive exposure. We see some games fail to sell because another game stole its thunder. Microsoft can't promise thunder for everyone. dumb model, dumb proposition.
I don't get why you would want an Xbox handheld over the PC ones that are available? You basically limit yourself to only XSX games and it is completely locked down. PC handheld you get all the games and it isn't locked down. At this point Microsoft and Sony making handhelds is nonsensical unless you like limited choice.
