I think we need to have a little talk about what constitutes as "dead"

Wow. This really is the F Zero game of my dreams! They show 4 courses in this video- The first is mind blowing but it's crap compared to the next 3!
The last course looks like it really IS F-Zero. In the second course has that tunnel under water just like GX did! And the third course reminds me of that snowy icy course back on the GBA entry, only 20 years in the future now!
They even do spin attacks just like in F-Zero!

Seems like the whole world is hung up on whether the Wii U will become a success or continue failing.
Frankly I just don't give a damn. I just play the games.
If it's still got games coming it's not dead. And there's a hella lotta games on the way.
Instead of forever complaining about how dead the console is and disowning Nintendo, I choose to keep on doing what I've been doing since the Wii U launched- Enjoy all the great games on the way.

Why the heck does this game need online for?
It's not an online game. None of the Star Fox games were online, except for that piece of crap Command on DS.
What is it with you kids thinking every single game has to have online shoehorned into it. This is a single player game, with the campaign and stuff. You know single player stuff.

This isn't going to make a new mainline Metroid game magically appear. All it's going to do is leave us with less games. And this one actually does look fun.
I feel embarrassed to be a Nintendo fan, and even more embarrassed to be a Metroid fan.
Sony had a good conference. MS was better with the BC. But they actually announced very very little themselves. I saw two announcements by Sony worth their salt- Last Guardian and Horizon Zero Dawn. The rest of the credit goes to developers like Bethesda and Square Enix. And many of those games will not be releasing until 2017 to 2018.
And yet I bet your favorite games of all time were games you never asked for. It's their job to make games we never knew we wanted until we play, NOT to take orders like a table waitress. Because if there's one thing fans want, it's the SAME REGURGITATED CRAP OVER AND OVER. And then complain that they don't do anything new!

It's just a little spin off game. We all know retro is working on a proper entry for Wii U. This is just a little stopgap game based in the Metroid Universe, like hey guys you like a metroid right? We'll have super missiles and beams and space world and it will feel nice and familiar to you.

How do you know this game is mediocre? That's the problem nowadays. People pass judgment on the game within the first 10 seconds of seeing a trailer and make their mind up from that point on the game sucks.

Whether they're making games for their own hardware or someone else's makes not a split of difference. At least with their own hardware they get to make games that are unique.
It was a poor presentation there's no debating it. Even the most avid of Nintendo fan (and I am one believe me) will tell you that.

Look nobody is arguing it was a bad presentation but stop acting like every single bad presentation means the company is going to go bankrupt going to stop making games all of a sudden.
I'm somewhat saddened by Nintendo's presentation this year- they had a lot of great games just not a lot of great NEW games. Sucks because last year was so great...
