ZombiU sold over 700,000 globally and that was 2014 numbers. Bayonetta 2 broke 500,000 before the year was even over. Wonderful 101 did the worst at just 320,000 which is a true shame since it's so great a game.
But bad sales or not, you still ain't playing any of these games but on Wii U

You really should own Bayonetta 2 and Wonderful 101. Some of the finest on Wii U.
They should have, but by no means is it a deal breaker. Lots of online games don't have voice chat nowadays. It's a nice little extra and always appreciated, but nothing more than that.
"Childish" art style? When you grow up, you stop caring about whether art styles look "childish" and just enjoy the game for how fun it is, not how mature it looks to your friends. Speaking of friends, they're a bunch of ignos if they can't see fun 2 feet in front of their face, probably because they're kids and also worried someone might think less of them for playing a game that doesn't have blood, sex and violence.

Splatoon has more than enough content as a $60 game. Single player campaign and all.
And the only content you get from Amiibos is additional content above and beyond the developed game, mostly just outfits and such.
My poor PS4 and Xbox One aren't gonna see any play at all this year lol...

I actually think they're trying to expose the Nintendo racing fan base to F Zero to perhaps prep gamers for an F-Zero release. It's either that, or this is our consolation.
Either way I'm happy about the love for at Zero seen in both these DLC packs...
I want to own this on PS4- I honestly do. I just can't bring myself to buy this game for $50 when it was already out on the PS2, then I bought it on the Vita and beat it... No. It's like the game that gets released every generation for decades and decades. I'm only buying this game so many times.
Seriously consider Mario vs DK Tipping Stars and Kirby Rainbow Curse. Both excellent games and a heck of a lot of fun to play.
And there's loads of backlog. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is easily the best game on the Wii U (heck if it weren't for MH4U, I would say it's the best game of the last ten years, PERIOD.) That one was good for 578 hours for me. For $20. Every last hour a quality 60 minutes. And there's DKC Tropical Freeze- best platformer ever made. And ...

It's over hype. WE are the problem. You see Mario and Zelda and Link amiibos everywhere. No shortage in sight there. In fact, retailers are slapping orange clearance stickers on them in many cases.

My Wii U stays gaming. It's my PS4 and Xbox that's gonna end up in the closet. It does get far fewer games, BUT, it just gets some really good ones that I'd rather play over anything on the other systems. Tbh, 3DS has been putting all 3 of em to shame lately though.

This is a JRPG, with Japanese style character models. I think they look fantastic. Features are intentionally exaggerated like the eyes and jawbone lines. That's just how the Japanese draw characters. These look WAY better than most Japanese games.

The new3DS is worth upgrading to EVEN WITHOUT this game. Just the C-stick and face-tracking 3D alone is worth the upgrade.
The extra shoulder buttons, 3x faster download speeds, Amiibo support via NFC, and added game features like Miiverse screenshots in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and Smash Bros, as well as this excellent RPG known as Xenoblade Chronicles, is just icing on the cake.

If you've never played Monster Hunter, you'll probably enjoy this game. If you have, you will absolutely hate this game and any other game that does not have the title "Monster Hunter". That is because Monster Hunter is just so perfect and nails everything to the umpteen thousandth degree. No other game can play in the same league. But like I said, if you haven't played MH, this could be a very decent game for you.
Then again, you could just go buy Monst...

Thought I'd missed out- I just got the game in the mail today in fact. But I went ahead and ordered this because I really want that steelcase and art book.
It may be slack in comparison to the onslaught of modern western titles, BUT, as far as timeless classics worth buying and level of enjoyment you'll have playing those games, Wii U is second to none. There's a lot of quantity elsewhere, but there's also mountains of mediocrity.
And that's the thing, a lot of non-Wii U owners just look at the console and count games, when they SHOULD be looking at what those games are.
