Well by the time BF4 released, the Wii U install base could be between 8-10 million consoles. Things are slow now, but it might lead people to actually buy a Wii U for a third party game for a change.
It's terrible how EA is treating Nintendo and the Wii U, it's almost as bad as how they treated Sega with the Dreamcast. If they would put some games out at the same time as the other consoles things would be fine.
Why not put Sim City out on the Wii U? Why not Battlefield or Crysis 3? I just don't understand it.
I was making a joke, online multiplayer doesn't suit Witcher games.
I think your math might be a little off, there was actually a lot of different types of games, shooters were just the ones that sold best.
Nope, it was just cancelled.

"The Star Wars universe is moving forward into a brave new era, and that means it’s time for a good old-fashioned brand scrub. Following the news that newly-Disneyfied Lucasfilm is delaying the 3D re-release of Episodes II and III, the company announced today that they are ending production of Star War...
Makes sense for next gen consoles to get MMORPG's, it was the one thing lacking on consoles this generation.
My Gamestop stopped taking these in years ago, they don't sell PS2 games or take those in either. The good news is that if you are a bit of a collector like I am, PS2 games are never super expensive like other games in a collection tend to be.
Think I have around 200 PS2 games as of now.
First Assault screen shots looked damn impressive, sad that everything outside the movies is now on hold, they even cancelled The Clone Wars cartoon which was really good.
We could have had Battlefront 3 by now if it weren't for that stinker Haze. Free Radical had a contract for Battlefront 3 and 4!
I'd say Halo, but that is only my personal opinion and I can understand why some wouldn't agree. Also loved the Mass Effect trilogy as well.
I seriously doubt Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo are going into this generation with those thoughts in mind. That being said, I feel like Sony and probably Microsoft are presenting machines that can fully do cloud based gaming just in case.
I think the industry may want full digital or cloud based gaming a bit before the average everyday people are ready for it. These are companies and they'll want as many consumers as possible, if you offer the option for digital and phys...
Sleeping Dogs, you are mine!
*Facepalm* Hope they aren't thinking about DRM or on disc DLC.
These guys usually give a lot of value for the price, hopefully they see that meaningless multiplayer isn't what fans want with future Witcher games.
Black Tusk is their core studio that they opened in 2010 and they have a lot of really talented developers there.

They are looking to release the next "Halo", not an actually Halo game, but a franchise as large as Halo or Gears. So it sounds promising, I know Microsoft hasn't rea...
That would be kind of weird, but so far I'm enjoying the new game, wish they would have went deeper into his story though, overall quite enjoyable. I think there is plenty left for them to accomplish with Kratos, to me he is God Of War, so hopefully he comes to the PS4 at some point and we get the chance to be impressed with Kratos on the new console like we were with him on the PS3.
I remember when I first played God Of War 3 on the PS3 I was blown away by the cinematic...
I kind of hate hype articles to be honest, I remember seeing similar things when the Xbox 360 and PS3 launched, things rarely live up to the hype, but I understand why they feel the need to hype them anyway.
Meh, we've been hearing how this and free to play games were the future on consoles and it looks like that might be the case. We see that F2P games are doing pretty well on consoles, Happy Wars on Xbox 360 has over 2 million downloads alone.
Microtransactions aren't anything new, they have been on PC games for a while now, if you don't want to buy things, don't. I usually don't, but if I see something that piques my interest I'll give it a go. This ne...
Just because they might have a Kinect 2.0 or entertainment along with games package doesn't mean they don't care about core gamer's.
Black Tusk Studios is working on 4 brand new IP's for their next gen console though, so there's that if you are so inclined.
Obviously people here at N4G will complain if Microsoft shows anything but "core" games, but Sony brought out the Move and showed off their new social network and nobody see...
Well holidays are usually late November and all of December so this makes sense. Now it just depends on the price of these beasts and I'll likely have a choice to make. Already bought a Wii U at launch, I love to buy launch consoles, always have, but cant afford two $500 consoles.......
Show me something!
I'll say this, when I first got into this generation back in 2005 I only used my Xbox 360 for gaming. Over the years though I have found that there is much more a gaming console can and should offer.
Now I find that I still game as much, if not more than I ever have before, but I also can enjoy the entertainment and other things available. People act as if Microsoft is the only one to offer these things, but I originally bought a PS3 because it was a cheap Blu Ray player...
I thought the official Microsoft leaked documents pointed towards a price point of $299? At least one SKU anyway. I highly doubt they'd release a console for $600 seeing how poorly it was received at that point.
