Looking forward to seeing what exactly they have to offer this time around!
I bought around 10 titles over their last sale, which is odd because I don't usually buy digital games. Had to not use Netflix for a week to make up for the bandwidth I used up with the games...
Wonder if the sales were off a bit for Ascension? Usually get deals like this when a retailer ordered too many copies of a game.
Thanks for saving me the time, the main thing is that nothing is confirmed by Microsoft. We do know games like Destiny is going to be always online, and right now my Xbox 360 is technically always online, it boots to online everytime I start it.
That doesn't mean you cant play offline, and I highly doubt Microsoft becomes the only company to block used games. Some people buy a new game, beat it, trade it in and buy the next. Doubt Microsoft wants people to go into a Game...
Specs wont matter, the PS4 and 720 will both be similar in power, I think launch exclusives will matter, if both can get equally great third party support then it'll be an interesting generation.
Wasn't this the case with like 90% of third party games this generation? It's always the case when it comes to the consoles, last gen the original Xbox was far more powerful than the PS2 so it got the ports.
From a technical point it makes sense to develop this way.
Glad they finally got their review up, they held off until they could properly test the online portions of the game. Glad they enjoyed it.
Or it's trolls, I mean I never even look at the user scores on games anymore. People spam them with fake, negative reviews all the time.
Thanks for the help, bubble up my friend.
I've rarely seen a game score the same way across the board, so while I wouldn't say this game is a 10, I'd say 8 or 8.5. The campaigns and story are probably the best and most entertaining of all the Gears games. Also, stoked they finally added Domination to the mix.
Since reviews are just opinions, it's hard to argue with them, I can just speak for myself, but 80 on Metacritic is pretty good, and it'll probably sell between 3-5 million copies, which is ...
What's Dust 514? I know that might sound like a weird question but I've never heard of it before.
@N0S3LFESTEEM
They used a 2 year cycle just like Mass Effect, Uncharted and Resistance. A lot of companies employed a 2 year cycle this generation, this isn't 10-15 years ago when developers had a terribly hard time working with game engines, developers are better than ever and the gamer's reap the rewards.
I highly doubt the game will be $60, also I seem to recall a time right after the PS3 released that the games were atrocious to say the least, the Six Axis was implemented poorly in games like Lair. There was attempted innovation just like Nintendo is attempting innovation.
Sony ended up fine, Nintendo will end up fine, they just need some quality games. At this point, it doesn't matter if they are year old ports or not.
I like to think of them as GOTY editions instead of year old ports. If someone is strictly a Nintendo console owner, they must be at least somewhat happy with these games. I know a huge Nintendo fan that was blown away when he finally got the chance to play Mass Effect 3 on a Nintendo console.
Ohh, pretty good deal if you haven't played the game yet.
That is a bit redundant don't you think? I mean developers support new consoles all the time, EA just thinks Nintendo fans wont buy third party games, which isn't the case.
Nintendo fans just don't buy BAD third party games, which does mean a lot of EA's offerings aren't going to be bought by Nintendo fans.
EA pulled the same crap with Sony and with Sega and the Dreamcast before that. I don't think it'd be hard or risky for them ...
This would actually be a good idea, even though the game has been out on other consoles for a while, if this is a "Directors Cut" and offers all the DLC and even more, then it's far better than a GOTY Edition.
I could actually see them doing some nice things with this game and the Gamepad. Price it $49 or less and sold!
Bring it Microsoft! Cant wait!
Actually, you still could unlock a ton of skins and things like that, but games have gotten so big, and we spend so much time with them, that extra things like this are cool if you are into them.
Wow, I haven't been to Coinstar in ages....good deal though.
I think Nintendo probably wishes they had some more software out for the Wii U right now, but they'll need some real killer software to compete with the launch of the next Xbox and PlayStation, so I'm definitely looking forward to this.
