Hmmm, this is a shame, all people deserve a second chance. The game should have been delayed, I own it and will all the title updates it's actually much better now than when it released.
So many developers closing, you have to worry about a possible console game market crash in the near future.
Overrated is quite subjective and purely opinion, I'm of the opinion that Uncharted 2 was one of the best games this generation, it blurred the line between a cinematic experience and pure game experience.
Every franchise has a peak, and Uncharted seemed to have peaked with Uncharted 2, not saying the other two were bad, but maybe some people aren't into those types of games.
It's a bold and inaccurate statement to say something like "Most ...
I keep all of my consoles, I have a backlog of games and have a lot of space in my house, so my room, living room and Florida room all have consoles in them.
I don't think anyone expect physical media to go anywhere anytime soon, even physical media for music, television and movies is going strong. Even if the sales were split evenly, would companies want to cut half or even 25% of potential sales? Probably not.
Still good to hear though.
They invented the Avatars genius.
You can actually download games and demo's and things like that without being a Gold member, also, we're not sure about the pricing for any of the next generation of consoles online. So I'd hold my tongue a bit when it comes to bashing.
Still, I'd like to see a good mix of everything next gen, I have enjoyed some free to play games, but not as much as fuller retail releases.
There are some conflicting aspects to the PS4's pricing, we've heard Sony wont sell the PS4 at a loss like with the PS3, but we've heard the console will be priced to entice gamer's.
To me, $300-$400 really does the trick for a launch, anything higher than that is risky and expensive, so hopefully they are willing to take some sort of loss if it means a better launch.
Well he isn't entirely wrong, we don't know pricing, release dates or all of the games that will be available right away. No matter how you slice it, the install base on these new consoles isn't going to be as appealing as the current ones for the foreseeable future.
We all assume the Wii U is doing poorly for one reason or another, but it could very well be a trend in the industry, I mean who doesn't see the Xbox 360 and PS3 outselling the Xbox Infinity and ...
It proves Sony was paying attention and listening, the PS4 sounds very appealing, they got developer input, and are doing their best to attract all different types of developers.
There has been no official news regarding Rare games, but they have two huge development teams, hired for FPS and Action Adventure game type developers, re-upped the Killer Instinct name, and are rumored to be working on multiple projects.
I bought every Rare offering this generation day one, and damn right I'm getting my hopes up for them and the next Xbox, cant wait to see what they do on it.
Agreed, but those people are just looking for reasons to hate, and are mostly uninformed to Rare's actual history.
Viva Pinata was as ground breaking and innovative as Little Big Planet in my opinion, it doesn't get the love it deserves, and same thing with Kameo, that was an awesome platform game, it was one of the first Xbox 360 games I bought.
People also neglect the fact that Rare actually built up the Xbox Live Avatar system, it was their idea,...
Really looking forward to seeing what they have for the next Xbox at E3. Really loved everything they've done this generation, Kameo, Perfect Dark, Viva Pinata 1 & 2, Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts and Kinect Sports! The HD remasters of Banjo Kazooie and Perfect Dark on XBLA were awesome as well! Hopefully they push the next Xbox.
I really enjoyed it, the loading screens were funny too. I think a lot of the hate here has to do with them developing strictly for Sony and now branching out to multiplatform. I hope the Xbox crowd doesn't react the same with Bungie's Destiny, that game looks great, and I'm glad more people are going to be able to experience it.
I had 3 messages from people spoiling the ending, but I didn't check until after I beat the game thankfully.
KOTOR, probably 10 times or so
Well I haven't seen anything that's blown me away quite yet, some of it looks great, but not something I'd say was loads better than what we've got right now, which could also explain the long console cycle this time around.
Hopefully E3 shows off some good games, but I also hope and pray that these companies don't just focus on graphics, games need stories and great gameplay/controls to really pop for me.
Well I have a feeling they are going to be working on the following.
Dice-A Star Wars themed shooter, wont be Battlefront 3, but a FPS on Frostbite 3.
Visceral-Star Wars 1313, but they'll scrap everything already made and change it to Frostbite 3.
Bioware-Obvious because this is the team that made KOTOR originally, probably going to finally get a KOTOR 3.
So, turns out Thomas wasn't alone after all?
Think I'll stick to the high def Xbox Live Player.
If it's true Nintendo held back first party games for the Summer update, that is unfortunate. Is it dead in the water? I think it has close to 5 million units sold in 6 months, which is about the par for the Xbox 360 and PS3 at the same amount of time in.
People want to see the games, I think it's a good system, we just need to see something that really pushes the console. An Achievement system wouldn't hurt either, I'd have bought some 3rd party games to pla...
