The wont announce a price, release date or anything like that. Got a feeling we'll see the console, some games, features, OS, Kinect 2.0 and the specs.
May 21st is getting close, I can feel the hype building ever higher, I cant imagine the amount of people who are going to tune in to see the Microsoft reveal.
Ubisoft kind of shooting themselves in the foot with statements like this in my opinion. We all know the new consoles by Sony and Microsoft will be able to run the game better, but why make it sound like current gen versions are going to suck?
If current consoles aren't good enough to run the game, why bother making it cross generation? Oh, that's right, probably because most of their sales will come from current consoles, not the limited next gen owners.
You are saying that because of the way Sony handled their show, the console itself is important, we never saw what the Wii U actually looked like, they never focused on it, and while I like the console, the looks are pretty soulless.
I want to see the box, the specs, everything. It shouldn't be one or the other, not saying Sony's show was wrong, but so close to E3, Microsoft needs to show me the box to impress me.
I never mentioned Xbox in my comments, just stated why it would be hard to top the PS1 in sales, the fact that the consoles are so evenly divided makes it all the tougher though.
I play KOTOR just about every year on Xbox, I also play the Halo games once a year, I think I've beat Super Mario Bro's 3 on NES every year as well.
It isn't really a goal that can be achieved easily, at the time Sony had something nobody really had, which was CD based games, everything just looked and played so much better on the PS1 when compared to everything else. The games were varied and amazing, and Sony was really on top of their game where innovation is concerned.

Dude give it a rest, Microsoft had issues with that the first couple of years, offered free 3 year warranties on every single Xbox 360, and the Xbox 360s had zero problems, the original Xbox had zero problems.
When you see wish lists about the PS4, I have yet to see one mention safe online that cant be hacked. That's all yesterdays news.
Zipper was part of the reason the PS2 and that online system got any attention. Who doesn't remember the Socom commercials with the kid who played Goldberg in Mighty Ducks?
Anyone that went hardcore on PS2 had Socom 1 and 2, brilliant games, and Zipper was a hell of a developer.
It's not just the Wii U that publishers and developers will be passing over for a while, even Activision is worried about the new Xbox and PlayStation because it's risky to release and make games for new consoles with low install bases.

Free content is always welcomed, the game tried to split the versus multiplayer with the Overrun multiplayer and it hurt more than helped. They should have launched with less Overrun maps to be honest.
The maps they are releasing are pretty well designed though, I'm enjoying them, and this is the second free map we've gotten, so I don't have a reason to complain, free is free!
I doubt they'd be showing the next Xbox before E3 is that were the case. No way does it get delayed into 2014, they want the holiday pie and even if it's not going to be available worldwide or in the millions, they will launch in North America this year.
Rumors were trying to suggest a lot of negative things when it comes to the next Xbox, but I highly doubt every single first party studio Microsoft has is running six months behind, just not going to happen.

Well it doesn't really matter when they decided to reveal it, I mean Nintendo didn't reveal the Wii U until E3, we all had to know a new Xbox was in the works, we'll see it before E3, not sure why there is a problem?

Maybe they'll demo everything on high end PC like Sony did at the PS4 reveal? Then they wouldn't need to worry about it.
The only way I would be disappointed would be if they didn't show the next Xbox, I want to see it, I know they'll have games to show off at E3, but there is absolutely no reason not to show the box itself off.

You realize Respawn Entertainment was formed by West and Zampella right? and Zampella is still there, also I'd point out that most of the developers at Respawn are former Infinity Ward members, so yea, megaton in my opinion.

Actually Jagex said they'd be open to bringing Runescape to consoles, but they want cross play between Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, which will probably never happen.

Hard to base winning something like a console generation on something like connectivity and sharing, I think it might take a bit more than that, but it would be a heck of a feather in the cap if Sony presented a console that did both of those things.
