A lot of my stuff is my original games and consoles from growing up, I saved the boxes to all of them except my original NES, but I bought a box off Ebay.

Also didn't list my Dreamcast, but I have two of those, the white one and the black Sega Sports one that still has the box.

I pay my bills, don't have any habits like drinking, smoking, drugs, so I choose to spend my disposable income on gaming.

Before this generation and the Wii, I never heard the term casual gamer or hardcore gamer. It kind of makes you think, I believe if you were a big fan of either Microsoft of Sony, you needed to do some damage control because the Wii was so underpowered, so people starting saying it was all casuals, which wasn't the truth, most gamer's I know own a Wii as well as other consoles.

I think the Wii was just able to appeal to every, and the big Nintendo first party games a...

No, they haven't. Some people might have bought a PS3 thinking those were the way the games would look, Sony didn't even come out and say if those were in game or cgi. Just goes to show you... the lawsuit will fail, like many before it.

Right now more consoles have sold than in other console generation, sure mobile gaming is continuing to grow because everyone has a smartphone, but just because people spend a few dollars on some breezy game on their phones, doesn't mean there is no room for home consoles.

I have a few games on my phone, but I'm not going to game exclusively on my phone, that'd be lame, you get no really deep games, and I love to sit at home, kick back and play on my big screen. C...

I embrace the nerd thing, big Star Wars fan too, I go to my first local Comic Con this June. Collecting games is a real hobby for me, if I'm out and see a yard sale or something I'll usually stop and see if they have any video games.

Even though a lot of people complain about this generation, I grew up in the 8 bit era, where you were lucky to get 10 good games a year, now we get upwards of 50 pretty good games a year, it's a good time to be a gamer.

I'm a bit of a collector, I have around 1000 total video games, that is physical copies mind you.
Also own a plethora of consoles in the original boxes.
NES
Super NES
Sega Genesis
Turbo Grfx 16
Nintendo 64
PSx
PS2
PS3
Gamecube
Xbox
Xbox 360
PSP
DS
3DS
Game Gear

I love collecting, but it isn't for everyone, I tend to have a bit more disposable ...

Well hopefully people weren't thinking they'd be able to record and share every single thing, that would take up a ton of space. If you're a hardcore gamer who puts out montages on COD or Battlefield I'm sure you have a PVR, it still makes sense to get one if you were thinking about doing Youtube videos and things like that.

The "Share" function is probably set up a lot like the current Black Ops 2 feature is, you can choose to save a map so that yo...

Well how about Assassins Creed 3? That game looked fantastic at E3, so much fun. Too bad when I got the game it was slow paced and boring, the commercials and E3 misrepresented it, guess I'll have to start a lawsuit now!

It doesn't work like that, you cant complain because a game didn't meet your expectations. Advertisements are supposed to make you want to buy the game, by the other logic, people could have sued the crap out of Sony because their 2005 E3 was sup...

Who in the world would give up on the Wii U after only six months on the market? We haven't even seen any of their quality games yet. That's counting chickens way before they've hatched.

If this past generation taught me anything, it's that these things aren't a sprint, if they were, the PS3 and Vita would have lost already. Good thing we waited those out, and now the PS3 is doing great and has given us some of the best games this generation, while the Vi...

Personally, as long as they sell enough to keep operating I'm happy, I'm not one who's all into "winning" a generation, mostly because I don't see jack squat for anyone winning a generation.

1,3 and 4 will most likely happen, they wont give up that sweet one billion dollar per year Xbox Live service, they have no real reason to, it's not like the service is declining, and it costs money to operate and maintain it.

I see people mention RROD quite often, but the original Xbox had no failure issues, after 2007 the Xbox 360's failure rate was drastically reduced, and when the 360s came out I don't believe its had any problems, so basically in 12 years of...

I think I mentioned this before, but the biggest rumor on Nintendo forums is that Nintendo went to EA to design their online service because of their experience with Origin, something happened to where EA wanted pretty much all profits from the service and Nintendo backed out.

This could explain what almost seems like bad blood between the two, there really isn't any excuse not to put FiFa or Madden on Wii U, especially since they could easily port the Xbox 360 version t...

Nah, SWBF3 was always going to be a TPS, but both SWBF1 and SWBF2 had options in the menu to switch it to FPS, most likely the third game would have the option as well.

Now the Star Wars game that was cancelled on Xbox Live, was going to be a FPS.

I agree that all of the PS3's don't disappear, but you will have a lot of the hardcore fans who would normally buy the game, possibly skip it in order to save for the new console.

It has happened in the past, look at Super Metroid, which was one of the best games of all time, but it came out after the PlayStation and N64 were announced and sold next to nothing.

Not saying that will happen, but this game is a bit of a niche title in my opinion, the PS4...

The sad part is that we have this one, and the one where the 13 year old sliced his friends throat over there in Australia. With all the Liberals calling to ban things, I wouldn't be surprised if we started getting pressure to do away with any type of violence in video games.

It's a bad thing, I buy games all the time that looked good in ads and even at E3, but then turn out to be average or even bad games. It doesn't mean I can, or should sue the company for it.

I mean I see people in cola ads having fun all the time, doesn't mean I can sue if I'm not doing all the crazy crap in the ads when I pop the top off...lol

State Of Decay was playable at Pax, so it isn't cancelled, but I would bet money that Class4 is going to be a game for the next Xbox, it would be a nice way to kick off a generation, with an awesome zombie MMORPG.

For the average gamer, this hack means nothing. I don't hack, don't use exploits and it doesn't affect me in the slightest.
