The only IP that they would own would be Project Gotham Racing, Alan Wake is owned by Remedy, but Microsoft owns publishing rights, Ryse I'm not sure of, but is developed by Crytek, Class4 would be the MMORPG by Undead Labs, they just have a contract with Microsoft.
I think this game looks awesome no doubt, I have it pre-ordered and everything, but why the inclusion of multiplayer? Seems like a bit of a waste of resources, and might have caused the delay from the original release date.
It seems like lately we are flooded with great games with forced multiplayer that doesn't turn out too well.
So it looks like there could be 3-4 third party exclusives coming to the next Xbox.
Alan Wake 2
Project Gotham Racing 5
Ryse
Class4
Respawn Entertainments game (rumored)
Cant wait to see what their first party studios bring to the table!

@Dirty
Yea, I guess you're right! Still though, it's looking like they might bring the games at launch, so now that it's looking more and more like they...
I said that in this one, but an internal memo to every employee seems like a bit more to go on. I'm sure you're one of those deluded ones that hoped Microsoft would shoot themselves, and now that it's looking they that isn't happening, things are going to be interesting.
If people really thought that Microsoft would just happily cast aside like 30 million potential customers, I guess that would be shocking.
I believe the hardcore Sony fans might have wanted those rumors to be true, because it would mean certain success for the next PlayStation.
I never believed rumors, and this might just turn out to be rumor too, but I do think Microsoft is smart enough and centered in North America enough to realize how the internet here ...
Sweet, all the positive stuff is starting to float out just in time for Microsoft's big reveal. Also, if the next Xbox has HDMI out, that could be huge.
A lot of the rumors people were so up in arms about seem to be BS, I mean an internal memo is much more believable than "unnamed sources".
Anyway, it'll be good to have confirmation come May 21st.
The thing is, it all comes down to personal opinion, not everyone likes first person games, so to a person who loves puzzle, sports or adventure games, they wouldn't think Bioshock Infinite was the best game.
Why should it matter what game was best this generation? And how the heck could you ever judge something like that?
I think some of my all time favorite personal games came out this generation, I wouldn't even begin to know where to start when i...
Very practical list, I'd throw in Class4 which is a mmorpg zombie game that was supposedly coming to 360.
Ironman 2 was a decent game by Sega I thought, much better than the first one anyway.
Good to hear, it sucks that Ninja Gaiden hasn't been the same since this guy left.
Hmmm, these fads often come back every decade or so, I remember in the 80's virtual reality was big, in the 90's it was big again, especially with movies and things like Virtual Boy, and now I guess it's time for it to come back for a bit.
Exactly, I mean you can possibly believe one or two, but to think every single studio is 6 months behind is ridiculous.
They weren't taking them in or selling them at my local Gamestop for years now. They also stopped selling PSP, Gamecube, Xbox and anything older than the current generation. Still plenty of 360, PS3 and Wii stuff though, and of course 3DS, Vita.
I find this hard to believe, mostly because Microsoft's first party studios have probably had dev kits for 3 years by now. There might be a delay or two, but I seriously doubt all of their studios across the board are six months behind, that would be one hell of a coincidence.
If a few are behind, Microsoft will most likely just open their wallet and get some games to fill the gap, which works well for people who'll want the next Xbox, it also shows they still have a...
How can a company do this if Microsoft owns the IP and rights?
Anyway, if everyone who claims to love the series and bought the game actually did so, there would have been more games made, and that is the bottom line.
Nintendo felt uneasy about publishing the original, so Rare did it themselves, Nintendo brushed the game under the rug because they already announced the Nintendo Gamecube. Microsoft took another chance on the game and offered a good game with ...
My question is, what is the difference between someone saving a particular hard area and publishing it, and the developer allowing a walk-through to be published? Their are Youtube walk-through's on just about any game you can think of.
Also, on the Nintendo Wii U Mii-Verse, you can talk about anything you want, just mark it as "Spoiler" if it contains spoilers.
Well I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I liked all the games on that list very much, with the exception of Portal, which I didn't really enjoy.
Wonder if a possible sequel would get a full on retail release?
You cant really gauge the Wii U and how it's doing now, to how it'll eventually do. To say it's slow sales right now are because of things that went on with the Wii would be a bit of a mistake in my opinion.
The Wii U has no games, people like it, I know people who want one, but they want some games for it. They don't want to buy one and have nothing to play on it.
I don't really go in for "surveys" that go on about who plays w...
